and sad eyes
It's the little things
that make you fall

The time we spend
I wont mention the bedroom antics

Seeds of
sharp nails pierce the skin
taking hold
tearing back the layers
some pieces are larger
than others
it now lies open
exposed...
taken in hand
it's looked at
inspected
judged
any flaws are pointed out
picked at
dug out
it's not worth keeping the ugly parts
they taste bad
and linger
keep the sweetness
keep the juice
is there enough left behind?
or maybe just throw the whole damn thing away
....
