Unreachable gods
A fool I've been to imagine I could reside in this pantheon
Me a mortal man whose words are less than defecation
Surrounded by Goliaths leaving footsteps I could never fill or follow
Unlike those I dream to become, my words will die with me...

Emptiness inside
Everything's not alright
Used to be full of butterflies
Now only moths flutter inside
Rationally nothings wrong

Darkest of nights
Brightest days bring the darkest nights
But just asking if you're ok wont illuminate the sky
Unable to see through the faux smile and lies
We'll just pretend everything's fine
I never knew you
And now I never will...

Rotten roots
Sweet words of flowers, sunshine, everything's fine, disguising dark intentions
Underlying roots of sorrow, decay your garden and clouden your sky.
And all I did was ask if you're ok.
You gave your reply and went on your way.
Down that path...

Hopeless Wanderer
The lost romantic knows what he wants but not what he's looking for
His inner chasm aches for something that might not exist
An undying fire to keep him warm
Adrift between his own brain waves he wonders...

Peaceful Twilight
On the twilight of reality and dreams, never knowing what to believe.
Could I slip off the edge of existence, to a plane of my own?
A temporary resting place while time freezes, until I feel alright again.
Somewhere I can clean myself up, without being left behind.
A space for me and me alone, that never gets lonely
Cause you'll be waiting when I finally calm the chaos.
