po-etdict
sowed from seed
of rudiment crop,
no sophisticated
I am not,
flow knowledge,
don’t have a lot,
basic lyrics
all that I’ve got,
“oh shit”
that open slot,
zig zag notes
for that perfect jot
“hott damn”
a perfect drop!!
spill flop
to spill flop,
a glowing poet
I’m not that hot,
still i aspire to master,
and ride it to the top,
know me
as that po-etdict
thinking in ink,
from start to non stop.

heir prayer
there are those that stand up,
and those that run away,
those that perform action,
and those that just pray,
need not look out any pane,
we know where the unfortunate stay,
providing a little traction,
make a difference in someone’s day,
you tout a symbol and book of action,
try sowing what the preachers say,
blessing for those who do..
and pity for those who lay.

walk in the park,
down the path,
and i cried.
at the movie,
had a good laugh,
and i cried.
at the bench,
by the river,
and i cried.
wrapped warm,
still i shivered,
and i cried.
in the lot,
smashing the wheel,
and i cried.
slam another,
mashed the last pill,
and i cried.
one morning,
foot of the mountain,
and I tried.
blood sweat tears,
like a fountain,
and i tried.
near the crest,
i feel the might,

. like a Duncan
on its downward scan
when love hits the bottom
it’s spins like a fan,
but yank the string hard
comes back to your hand,
if not strong enough
to rebuke this plan,
life will be up and down
if you don’t take a stand,
don’t heed this advice
an I’ll bet you a grand,
that you’ll be a Duncan,
in someone hand

shattered dreams
or broken loves,
definitely both
amongst other things,
i for one
can vouch for many,
those of joy
and those of pity,
same in the country
as is in the city,
some of elation
but mostly sorrow,
some were yesterday’s
supply now tomorrow’s
some make a river
others not a thimble,
definitely for strength
some times to be nimble,
no direct reflection
it seems to be vacant,
that is a deception
the outside is naked,

draped by a silver lining
character a joke,
spirit on a slope,
my mind was funny
and my brain was strange,
livin false hopes,
first one to mope,
shame was falling
down like rain,
time to understand,
from a boy to a man,
what it means by
no pain and no gain,
integrity my rope,
to the summit
like a goat.. seeing life
in a brand new frame,
now at the top,
synapsis firing nonstop,
vision has no
rose colored stains,

a starchild to begin,
“A” student again an again,
boy scout with every pen,
predictions an easy win,
mom really loves him
dad is super proud,
the hate they taught him
wrapped around like a shroud,
once a quiet kid
with a devilish cloud,
was Invisible
now shoots into a crowd,
misinformed ignorance
that is the mainstay,

how many granules of sand,
will it take for you
to become a man,
from crawl to walk
to make a stand,
sand does not grow back
like blades of grass,
once it flows through
your lifetimeglass,
staying in bad decisions,
you pay a miserable price,
wasting your precious years,
and not experiencing life,
take this as an opinion
or maybe as good advise,
do not waste any life sands,
living the same mistakes twice.
will it take for you
to become a man,

sand does not grow back

once it flows through

my treasure in life
i’ve taken good notes
no mental naps,
paid more attention
drawn better maps,
i’ve paid the cost,
gone though the loss,
back broke mind cracked,
stretched in every direction
like torture on the rack,
every pandora’s box
a stress or a strife,
best decision i made
was both wrists to the knife,
as light begins to fade
to irreversible night,
didn’t realize my treasure
was living my own life..
no mental naps,
paid more attention
drawn better maps,
i’ve paid the cost,
gone though the loss,
back broke mind cracked,
stretched in every direction
like torture on the rack,

a stress or a strife,

jasmine in the air
