Shu Qi Duke
a story about a boo 👻,
a childhood one,
that struck fear in you,
and your buddies too,
stop you dead
in your fun,
and cause you to run,
in a rough-and-tumble land,
there was a man,
that you developed
a sure fire escape plan,
Shu Qi Duke (shoe- key duke)
the project’s babadook,
of the demented brand,
not a ghost or a spook,
but definitely a kook,
a for-real life
neighborhood bogeyman, ...

endangered spot
out the house just down the street,
was an oasis of a natural treat,
where peace and tranquility
would often compete,
use to be a heartfelt to see,
pastel flowers and rainbow trees,
aromatic addiction drawn in like bees,
a sense-filled fiesta in pageant beautiffity...
but, no one cares about all that rot,
those priceless mental photo shots,
reduced them to a pitiful one line jot,
a faded memory that ends with a dot.,
now replaced by something really hot,
urban expansion is what you got, ...

boy on his bike
stops and stands,
wasn’t the first time
he’d seen a dead man,
look down at his shoes,
still had them on,
totally amazed,
usually they’re gone,
even had gold
still around his neck,
it wasn’t a robbery,
then.. “what the heck“,
lights and sounds
from a psychedelic stage,
hypnotizing children
at a very tender age,
whispers in the crowd
begin to get loud,
“yeah he deserved it
he met his fait”,
“snitches...
stops and stands,

that office policy
rush of heat
there I see,
a visual love
has come over me,
couple of feet
maybe three,
a honeybee
for the flower in me,
with a smile
to start my plea,
my charming looks
and personality,
but then there is
by decree..
that darn office
harassment policy
can’t approach,
even carefully,
could be a hornet
dressed like a bee,
cut down the flower
so angrily,
walk back to the cube
frustratingly,
...
