Nothing compares to the love of a good woman
And like everything else it is earned
That she chooses to spend her days with you
And grow old at your side is a blessing
A great compliment other women notice
And think to themselves
Ain't she the lucky one

We're almost dead but we're not
Lets give it what we've got
In three weeks we're done
And it's been lots of fun
This site will soon be shot
I've always loved this place
I worry what can replace
Yet such goes hand in hand
With increased net demand
In tune with the modern pace
Before shouting a last hurrah
Waving a hand to say ta-ta
Lets give it another go
Just one more for the show

Black feathers in the breeze
Soaring over mountains seas
Taming wind in perfect ease
He flips in mid-air as a tease

Mirror
All that you are
All that you see
All that you do
It is reflected in me
Everything you think
Everything you say
Everything you believe
It comes back your way
The sins you may commit
The lies you may tell
The hatred you may harbor
Designs your private hell
If empathy is practiced
If love can mend a heart
If forgiveness is earned
You have done your part
My fate is in your hands
My worth is told by you
My role is as your mirror
We can see it through
All that you see

The Yule Cat
You must know of the Yule Cat
That feline mighty and long
No one knew from where he came
Or to where he had gone
He'd stare at you with intent
Of his burning desire
It was hardly for anyone
To gaze into that fire
His whiskers stiff as needles
A hump on his black back
And the claws on his furry paw
Would surely take you aback
He leaps he claws and hisses
He swings his mighty tail
Sometimes out on the ness
At others in the dale
He'd roam hungry and vicious
On frozen Christmas ground ...

Pussy Power
I must not move too much while he lingers
He treats me like furniture with fingers
Before jumping down he will arch his back
Glances at me like I'm his favorite snack
Today he caught a fly then he ate her
As an appetizer for what he'll get later
He cries so sweet if he doesn't get fish
Am played like a fool for his every wish
If I call his name he simply ignores me
Wanting something he coyly implores me
With a purr and a soft rub against my leg
Makes me feel guilty for having him beg
He owns himself but...
