POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I write... and write and write and write and write, onto the walls, onto my flesh, into my being, into thy corpse, upon the Page, into the soul, beyond the Universe if you suppose.
Daze
My eyes glaze over,
Fog in the irises,
A spinning world
Of stain and ink.
How unreal reality really is,
A spacious blur
Beneath and beyond.
A clouded atmosphere,
I breathe in the fog.
I am not like them,
Those with visions secure,
Those who have not tasted madness.
Lucky them.
A Heaviness weighs me,
Atlas atop my scalp,
A crown of finish,
A crown of thorns.
Who knew brains were red?
A curtain of hair isolates me,
Hiding me from the world,
Cocooning me transformative
And invisible to the...

Invasion Skylark
The sky gropes open,
Clawing from an alien portal,
Dragging itself ajar
So it may watch me sleep.
Eyes of a distorted heaven
Graze my breasts
And hands, the clap of an ungod,
Lift the sheets
To peek into my heart
Burnt edges, a terminal master,
Enslaved by the incineration
Of my entrails
Dark Dawn, let me slumber
While my organs are rot
Aflame
And how thus orchestra furies,
A match of memoirs
Set too close to
My nuclear wasteland
And now I am the storm
As the sky gropes...

Sleepy Hollow
My mind still does wander
To the sleeping stone
As life deceives its crevices
And Death implores its waiting weather;
Plunging to its deepest core,
A subconscious smites sanity down!
Dismount the purring of its dreams,
The rocky roar of its nighmares
Shall rouse me from my own Morphium
For When it wakes
It will crush mine.
-written within the hour between 2013 and 2014

Wishing for Darkness
My one wish rots
In the sweet starry abyss,
sorrows frozen black
In the midst of lunacy.
Death be my rite
In the conspiracy of forth and sight,
The darkness weighs the tone
Of world’s decay, as
I pray to the god of masonry and
press my lips against the
Night.

In the midst of lunacy.
Death be my rite
In the conspiracy of forth and sight,

Sick
My eyes soften their glow as I lean into the mirror,
Just a closer look, a closer look at my failing vanity.
I frown at the speckle of imperfection, the hole of my being,
But it’s my eyes that deceive me now,
They are lost, lost in some dream-found, death-storm incredulity,
I can’t look any closer, any longer, but my dream- bound eyes
Hypnotized by something beyond the mirror lure me back in,.
I lean in, lean in, lean in and fall in, down the rabbit hole persay.
A looking glass, “I am Alice,” I say,
But something inside me answers back.
No, “I am...

Blood Stains
My fingers dip into your skin,
I can taste your fervency,
I can taste your sweat.
Your penal crescent digs deep
Inside of me, plowing through the secular
Of my goddess poison, I drip a lunar red,
Blood on the moon! I howl as you touch
My heart from the entrails of my internal.
I lick your lips and bite your tongue,
Tangling your dripping buds between
My teeth, drawing more of the sweet crimson.
Hushed between my cheeks, beneath my gargle.
I move down to hither more, drinking from your sword.
Oh, I bite and suck and claw and squeeze...
I can taste your fervency,
I can taste your sweat.

Under the Earth of Neogen
I
I close my eyes,
Bleeding from my sacrament,
The wind it pours
Like a storm upon chasing,
I am in the eye of the tornado
And I am NOT afraid.
Sinking below the tides of rebellion,
His teeth sink into my flesh.
I pause waiting for something…
Alas, it has happened yet!
The trees be our witness.
Decaying leaves
Just in time for Autumn
Drift and fall
In the Summer heat,
A fire burning with no pain,
A parade of pleasure
In a Spring of Love.
Bathing and icing over in Winterland,
Cold is...

Water Spited Satyr
The water sprites marched through the mesh
Of the marshes end, spraying the sea foam
Out to visitors begotten; the satyr dared to
Spy upon their dance and pouring into Waves
Drowned He went, below the seaweed and the reeds,
But the cateye he clung to, hanging for life,
For play, for sex, for wanton favor, he knew
The water sprites would whisk him again
Into doom if he dared to surface, but air
Was growing low and vision was blurring dull,
Dark, dark the abyss of death was fishing all
To close beneath the tidal frown of the drown
In which he...

Mirror's Face
My eyes beam off the mirror of self-deface,
Retracting the shine of a far finer fate,
If I step through it's portal I know I will not return.
My pores will be unplugged, my beauty will fleet
And my skeleton will fall in fracture to the ground,
Beseeching its closet where I kept it so well hidden.
Until the mirror dissected my face;
An autopsy of deceit, reaching into my pocket,
Retrieving out my truth, the truth I only knew in fable.
The mirror knows, it knows your face
As little as it knew mine.
From the shadows of the lurking dim, ...

Stonery Heart
The walls pass away
And I drift to stone,
Murmuring through marble lips,
Can you hear my granite cry?
Grinding above the ground,
Through the air, to your ear:
“Our Love is worth Medusa’s wrath.”
A banshee shriek,
A heart set to mode of dream
As I fall to dust at your feet.
Kiss my embers,
And cast me into the wind,
I’ll return again, return again
When the Autumn catches
It’s Winter cold,
When the frosted breeze
Unleashes its gust, its rust of reign.
Look for me, Look for me
In our garden parlor

Carbon Monoxide
My eyes flickered like the fire
In the gas burning stove.
Your hand precipitated in mine
Like rain in a drought.
I smiled and shook and swooned
In a restrained giggle
as you fed on my neck
just as the fire feeds on its own demise.
I watched with half-mooned eyes,
Two sensual crescents
As the flames turned blue then red
Then blue again and then green.
I squinted, it felt wrong, unnatural,
And the hairs on my nape prickled on edge,
A hundred licking pine needles:
You felt it, you felt it too
As your...

Candlelight
"It is only through darkness that we may find the light.” My mind strolled over the memory of his voice, feverishly trying to remember the sage-like quality, the omniscient nature, the humble inflection that sprung from his lips.
“But what if the candle is blown out?” I challenged, playing Devil’s advocate in his intriguing philosophical games. He smiled at me as we fumbled through the shadows of the blackened wood; side by side, guided only by candlelight.
“The light would still exist. The candle may be blown out, but it will never burn away. There will always...
