POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
The Pit
I feel the chill crawl up my spine.
I sense the creep of evil in the room.
My mind starts to panic as I run out of time.
Im scared to be forever trapped in this tomb.
I begin to try and calm my mind.
Im starting to loose control of the shackles of my sanity.
I fight harder than ever only to lose the bind.
The loss realeases a tsunami of madness, followed by a string of strong profanity.
I pick up the chair and throw it at the wall.
It knocks over the picture of my family.
I kneel over and pick it up as a voice says, "Tonight you loose them...

Tomorrow
We believe and we hope without reason.
We push forward despite our brothers treason.
We fight through the pain and the feeling.
We stand fast to the fibers of our being.
With no answers or explanation, we desperately search for a destination.
We refuse to lay down and cry, as men we will fight till the day that we die!
Though tiered and hungry and lost, we march forward no matter the cost!
Take everything that we own, It's our hearts that we still call home.
Though we are weak, desperate and cold, we will never deter from this road. ...
