POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Desire
Ambiguity fills my mind with fear,
However aloofness appears,
Each day comes with a new task,
My perception distorts what I hear.
Rising and falling as with the sun,
Must I remain overwhelmed?
Losing battles before I’ve begun,
Scattered thoughts leave cognition overrun.
Failing to meet a mark,
My goals are fleeting,
Some days I lose my spark,
Immaturity portrays me as a lark.
Yet am I not human?
Flaws and quirks befall my character,
Seen as inferior because I’m a woman,
Mistakes lead to...

Masquerade
Behind the glowing screen before your face,
You rather portray another,
Than live honestly,
You think you’re so clever.
I pity that you pretend to be what you’re not,
Gallivanting around like a knight,
Yet you’re a mere peasant,
You are not intelligent or bright.
I dare you to reveal yourself,
Instead of this lie you’ve built,
You are a coward,
So this dare will not be filled.
Wasting the time of innocent people,
You continue to be unbothered,
Sad and pathetic,
You do not deserve honor.

Blood Sun
Blood red sun rising in the east,
Filtered through the particles,
Of moisture and smoke,
Reminding me of broken promises.
The energy and warmth ,
Feeding my soul as though I’ve starved,
Retreating back to what I’ve known,
Only leaving me emotionally charged.
Blood red sun rising higher,
My dreams and wishes fail to find me,
Oh sun can you bring me back?
Is there some way to find peace?
Rain drenching my face and body,
Illustrating those nights that I wept,
Questions and wondering will never...

Face Turned Blue
As your hands began to fade into blue,
Cold they were,
I was gripping your neck tighter,
I reckon you failed to think this would occur.
Challenge me?
Tamper with my spells?
You’re sadly mistaken,
I’ll make your life a living hell.
Laugh and mock if you must,
Take what you desire,
The breath in your lungs dwindles,
Your body I shall burn in fire.
One last chance you say?
Forgiveness?
Fail to be silent,
Or you’ll be dead within minutes.
The squirming started to cease, ...
Cold they were,
I was gripping your neck tighter,
I reckon you failed to think this would occur.

You’re sadly mistaken,
I’ll make your life a living hell.
Laugh and mock if you must,
