Letter to my Unborn Son
I have been carrying you for the last 9 months and I couldn't be more in love
True you weren't planned, but nonetheless an amazing and welcomed blessing from above
Now, mommy's not perfect but I will always give you and your sister my all
I promise to always do my best as a parent and pick you up if you should ever fall
I'll dust you off and give you the courage to push through
After all that's what mothers do
I promise to help you choose the right path when you can't seem to find your way
I can't lie its gonna get tough with the world we live...

Trust Issues
The last guy I was with treated me badly
He made it so hard to trust anyone and now sadly
I’m afraid to take a chance on what could be fate
Though it’s obvious you could be my soul mate
My biggest fear is that you will end up being exactly the same
Or I'd compare you to my past and act as if you are to blame
I want to give love another chance
However, I figured I should disclose my reservations in advance
I don’t want to miss out on love again
But he broke me...never thought our love would just suddenly end

If I could give my heart to you I would, but it belongs to someone else
And if I broke his heart I’d never forgive myself
