Alisha
The scars on her fair skin,
So visible and red,
"I'm so, so sorry",
Was all that she said.
The battles she's overcame,
Are permanent within,
The true, life-changing scars,
Aren't all carved in her skin.
I tell her I love her,
Tears spring from her gorgeous blue eyes,
I hope she believes me,
I can't stand to see her cry.
She's made mistakes,
She know this too well,
The blades in her skin,
Can't always calm her hell.
She's not perfect,
But she's the perfect friend,
No matter what,
She's...
So visible and red,
"I'm so, so sorry",
Was all that she said.

Is There A Point?
You are a statistic. A number. You're just a part of a figure. You're another number in whatever you do. Another smoker. Another cutter. Another kid who lives with a drunk parent who hits them. Another suicide. You may have friends, your parents might cry, but honestly, you're just a number. Society has grouped and labelled you and there's nothing anyone can do to help. What is the point? Everything seems to trivial, so useless. Do you sit and think about every person that dies? I'll hold my hands up and say it, I don't. You get used to hearing about dying and death. You can work to the best...

Meant To Die
Don't feel sorry,
I was meant to die.
I wasn't meant to love,
It hurts too much to try.
Don't act like you care,
All the signs were there.
They were subtle but they were true,
Excuse me while I run from you.
So when I take these pills,
When I cut my veins,
Let this run through your mind,
I'm finally out of pain.
Cry my name in the dark,
I'll be the air you breathe,
I'll fill up your lungs,
When conscious and while you sleep.
I can be your guardian angel,
Though heaven sent is too bland for me,
Some...

Another Suicide Poem
If I was meant to live,
Then why do I want to die?
Fate has shown me my path,
A lovely little suicide.
Tragically cheesy,
Sweetly fatal,
Jumping off a building,
After one too many pills.
If you think I'm crazy,
Think I've lost my mind,
Then explain why it told me all this,
And why I think it's right.
There's no point dragging out the inevitable,
We will all die eventually,
No goals or cares for the future,
Why give a shit what I turn out to be?
All I'm trying to say,
Is tonight's my final night,
Take a...

The Plastic Mask
You may hurl abuse,
You may slap her with all your strength,
You can scream until your lungs give out,
She will not react.
She is above you.
Devoid of emotion,
Blessed with clarity,
She can get inside,
She will break your defences.
She gathers her weapons,
Waits until she must strike.
She will take you down.
You are a puppet,
She is your master.
You can defeat her in only one way,
Play her at her own game.
One day, if you're special,
She will tell you her story,

I Am The Average
I am the average.
The middle,
The in-between.
Not the youngest,
Or the oldest.
Not the smartest,
Or the prettiest,
But not the dumbest,
Or completely unfuckable.
I'm not the best friend,
I'm not the enemy.
I am a mere acquaintance.
I'm half full and half empty,
Whatever my peers want me to be.
The listener,
Though not the best.
The shoulder to cry on,
But only for a while.
The plus one,
That doesn't come again.
I'm not the best,
Nor the worst.
I'm not broken,
Or together. ...

I Didn't Ask To Be Born
Mother fucks with my head,
There's nothing I can do,
It's something she's an expert at,
Won't hesitate with you.
She makes me think it's me,
Acts like I'm a little shit,
Always thinking for myself,
So that deserves a hit.
It's okay though,
Because "my mummy's strong",
She'll sort out all my "problems",
Though to me they'll always belong.
Screaming loudly in my drunken state,
She'd just sigh and shut the door,
"I'LL NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH!"
I'll live with that forevermore.
Daddy...

You Make It So Easy (collaboration)
You make it so easy to make it look so hard,
I see through this glamour to a childish lie,
And it kills me to know that I let down my guard,
Yet over this past regret I do not cry.
No, for my tear glands have grown too numb,
My soul is too broken to care,
That I dared to let myself succumb,
To the dark pit and what awaits there.
The smell of death lured me in,
Grasped a cold hand round my chest,
Twisted me to face his sins,
So forever I may rest.
Because you make it so easy to make it look so hard to want to live. ...

The Voice No One Wants To Hear
Cigarette smoke rolls away,
Leaving only my shattered thoughts,
The ones that ask me how I ended up here,
And how did my life fall apart?
Was it my fault?
Were you to blame?
Or was it my fate?
That things won't ever be the same.
Could I open up?
Reveal my shattered soul,
Relive all of my life,
Try and take back control.
The wind whips through my hair,
Whispering my deepest fears into my ear,
"You're on your own now honey,
You're the voice no one wants to hear."
I'll never be a normal kid,
Life made sure of that,...
Leaving only my shattered thoughts,
The ones that ask me how I ended up here,
And how did my life fall apart?

Suicidal Love
If you ever decide,
Living just isn't for you,
Tell me please,
And I'll go too.
You may not be perfect,
But for me,
You're as close as it gets,
Why can't you see?
You may mess up,
You may think there's no way out,
But I'll tell you right now,
I'm always here when you shout.
Next time you're in your kitchen,
And you want to take those pills,
I'll come and join you,
And hope it's me they kill.
I'm trying to be stronger,
I want to be here while we're alive,
I want to hold you up,
So together we can...
Living just isn't for you,
Tell me please,
And I'll go too.
You may not be perfect,

Postponing The Inevitable
I know my fate,
It's written all over your face,
On the tip of your tongue,
Yet I refuse to let go.
What was the point?
Your glamour is wearing thin,
Not a starstruck child anymore,
I'll no longer get drunk on your fame.
I try to talk,
But your silence is too loud,
I know you've given up,
But I can't let you go.
You tell me nobody understands,
You're losing everyone,
Well, you pushed me away,
You won't let anyone in.
If you really miss me,
Like you say you do,
Then prove it,
Before I leave for...
