Poet Introduction
Snippets of me.
Numbing Air
The days have grown colder
In the middle of December,
The burning sun’s beams
Shivered beneath the chills.
My body has grown frozen,
Ruby frost through my veins woven,
I could feel my bones
Nipped to the marrows.
I’ve grown empty,
The icy wind hollowed me,
Frigid to the core
With nothing but whistles of numbing air.

Shivered beneath the chills.
My body has grown frozen,
Ruby frost through my veins woven,

Nipped to the marrows.
I’ve grown empty,
The icy wind hollowed me,
Frigid to the core
With nothing but whistles of numbing air.

Whisper Me _ with "Adagio"
Whisper me the soft winds of silence echoing pages
of autumn's breath in falling leaves
outside my window view.
The clouds sail in skies of curious blue, as if a
symphony of mysterious harps in torrents,
snowing its passion for clues.
Shrouding the white peaks of soaring mountains,
crowned in fairy veils, watching over
leafless trees in rue.
Embracing the tea of homily-steeping melancholy
beneath the linen of November, wailing lyrics past
due.

Crimson Floods
A slit throat—
blood trickles,
escaping in tides.
Will they notice
before the crimson floods
sneak from beneath the door,
staining their shoes?
Likely they’ll wipe them clean,
and live on.
Until a week later,
when the scent of rotting flesh disrupts,
creeping into their lungs.
They’ll burn it all,
sweep and mop the floor,
cleanse the world of the remnants,
and live on.

Wishing in Vain
How I wished to spark
The blown-out candle in your eyes,
How I wished to feel
The twisting pain behind your gaze.
How I wished to wipe away
The tears staining your cheeks,
The blood trickling down
Your bruises and scars.
How I wished to dull the knife
You called your favorite,
And help you off the floor
To sleep on the bed.
How I wished to carry away
The boulder weighing down
On your smothered heart,
To atomize it into dissipated dust.
The blown-out candle in your eyes,
How I wished to feel
The twisting pain behind your gaze.
How I wished to wipe away
The tears staining your cheeks,
The blood trickling down
Your bruises and scars.
How I wished to dull the knife

On your smothered heart,
To atomize it into dissipated dust.

Sun in Rouge
wistful feelings kept hidden
behind glistening eyes
subtly sneaking glimpses
like the peeking sun in rouge
through the veil of clouds
at the distant moon
across the sky
always in sight yet forever distant
behind glistening eyes
subtly sneaking glimpses
like the peeking sun in rouge
through the veil of clouds
at the distant moon
across the sky
always in sight yet forever distant

To Go Above
In a race with shadows,
Surging forward to go above,
Only to stumble back and collapse.
Obsidian murkiness looming over
My crawling reptilia,
Engulfed by an umbra,
Its tendrils of twisting billows
Invading me whole.
In the palm of its hand, consumed,
Lacerated from within.
Raising a white flag to this futile defeat.
Surging forward to go above,
Only to stumble back and collapse.
Obsidian murkiness looming over
My crawling reptilia,
Engulfed by an umbra,
Its tendrils of twisting billows
Invading me whole.
In the palm of its hand, consumed,
Lacerated from within.
Raising a white flag to this futile defeat.

Flip the Switch
On and off,
You peeked through the window,
Only to slip away.
It was broken,
No matter how many times
I flipped the switch.
And I couldn’t fix it,
No matter how long
I tried to.
So, here I am
And there you are,
In two.
You peeked through the window,
Only to slip away.
It was broken,
No matter how many times
I flipped the switch.
And I couldn’t fix it,
No matter how long
I tried to.
So, here I am
And there you are,
In two.

Dead Life
A heavy rope moored my ankles
with an anchor yanking me to fall,
dragging me across the scathing lava
to sink down the hollow well,
like being swallowed by quicksand,
buried away from the sunshine,
slowly rotting with the dark bitumen void
while maggots consume this dead life.

Under My Blanket
There, under my blanket,
I drew stars, gleaming in the dark,
Easing my breath
And caressing my hair.
A world of my own
Molded amidst chaos,
Where I could shut it all off.
I felt safe in the soft embrace,
The smoothness against my skin
Lulling me to sleep,
Held warmly away from the cold's grasp,
So I could finally close my eyes.
There, under my blanket.
I drew stars, gleaming in the dark,
Easing my breath
And caressing my hair.
A world of my own

Held warmly away from the cold's grasp,
So I could finally close my eyes.
There, under my blanket.

One Step
one step forward
into the ether
is all it takes to let go
fall down
the nothingness
cradled in the arms
of the abyss
kept away
from
life's curse
into the ether
is all it takes to let go
fall down
the nothingness
cradled in the arms
of the abyss
kept away
from
life's curse

See-Through
Sewn diaphanous gossamer
As a see-through sheer,
Shaped with tatters of words
I mend together to catch a glimpse
Of my thoughts’ sculpture.
Tracing their curves,
Crafted with delicate fingers,
Every contour on display
For my eyes to grasp
And my soul to heave a sigh—
I can see myself now.
