I find everything here so boring
lost the emotional catapults
that make me want to surrender
my "hope so's"
I find patience all so hollow
when fighting is easier to follow

worn fingers on the pulse of
a God amongst the flesh mites
I see clay figures playing pretend
harboring the night
with their silhouettes behind
a swaying candlelight
everyone just wants to be bigger
of course, in hindsight
up until you're faced with
