Morning Sun

When the light
Comes out with
The morning Sun
All I had forgotten
Comes back again
The pain and heartache
The forgotten dreams
The fearful memories
Flows right through
My heart again
Been going around
Trying to accept
The truth of
This same ole
Mistake again
But it all comes back
That bitter feeling
The suffering in my bones
With the sunlight
I feel it all over again

Desert Sand

I’ve been hiding myself
In the darkness
For too long
That I can’t remember
Where I belong
My soul has been
Aching for some light
To save me from
The cold, dark prison
In this life
I’ve been trying
To hang on, to be strong
In this desert sand
But I’m sinking deeper
That I can move along
Everything looks too
Familiar in my eyes
In this little corner
As I call it my own lit
Castle of the moonrise sand

"Delaram"

I’m sitting by the ocean
Thinking over my
Journey in life
What I’ve done and
What’s been passing me by
The sand is cold
Like the feeling in my heart
But My Dad named me “Delaram”
The sweetheart, the lover
And the warmth heart
“Delaram” is the one
Who comforts you
But my soul
Has been burning
With the fire of life
I’m his memory of
What he has left behind
I’m part him, who he was
And who he could not be
In this cruel life
I’ve been searching, wondering
To find what I had...
I’m sitting by the ocean

Gone Without a Trace

I have been gone without a trace
I left you behind with my memories
Making you wondering why
You keep questioning everything
You are waiting for a sign
You keep asking yourself
Should I wait another night?
Just the thought of me
Makes your heart beat
Makes you feel alive
Makes you want to cry
Makes you want to fly
But all it’s left of me
It’s my empty spot with my memories
In your wondering mind
I’ve always been a part of you

Your happiness and joy

I had died
My body floating
Above the ground
Everything
Gray and hazy

Get Away

I have to get away
Till I can feel the same
Same ways as I used
To be before
When I was care free
And knew that I will be
The same way as I
Could be happy
But every time I try
Try to run away
Far away of all it
Sadness comes over me
When I try to capture
That happy moment
Those happy memories
Fade away from memory
The only true happiness
Only lasts an instant
An imaginary number
Out of existence

You mean to me

To be so free

Dreaming?!?

I stumbled in the middle of the night
Woke up dreaming and you were gone
I looked around
Everything was unknown
In the pitch dark surround
I looked at myself in the mirror
I saw a stranger
Through the dark tunnel of life
Looking for the light
Hoping to find my way out
A passing by stranger smiled at me
I thought it was strange
Was he as lost in this dark tunnel of life?
Was he looking for special someone?
Some precious thing that he had lost?
I got lost trying to figure out
