When I was younger I thought that poetry had rules and what I was writing was rubbish. In time I learned that there are no rules in poetry, no fouls to commit, there is only your naked soul, laid down there. Exposed, but more secure than ever.

I can't take it anymore
I am so tired
Honestly
Every day the same
Find money
Score
Get high
Well not high
Just enough so you are not sick
Every morning, you wake up in pain
Every night, you fall asleep anxius
Every day that's about to come, you hope for a miracle
Every day you come and go
but
you are still here
dying a hundred times a night
yet still alive every morning....
I am so tired

those twisted feelings
that hangovery shit
what happened last night?
who cares?
why look at the past?
aim for the
stars
even if you miss you will be among them

I used to love you
REALLY love you
I gave you
200% of what i had
still not much
but
all i had
Was it ever enough?
or
you just woke up one day and said
"Well fuck you, I will make your life hell"
I still don't get it
You told me something like
"You deserve better"
"You will find some girl that will make you happy"
"Things are not so tragic as you make them sound"
"You will get over me"
just the next day i broke up with you
but i get it now
it always had to be about you
you didn't see it coming ...
REALLY love you
