Not sure if I can call myself a poet. Yet, here I am. I do like words and to play with them. I haven't read much poetry. More here than anywhere else. I've written even less. But here goes.

The Prisoner

i have no idea why i'm here
no charges were ever read
and, ...no..., i don't remember a trial
they just put me in this cell
with no number
turned out all the lights
and threw away the key
no one knows i'm here
do they feed you?
no, i eat the bugs that crawl across
my face
how do you get water?
there's a leaky pipe
i collect water in a rag and suck on that
if they fix it, i'm dead
is there any light? ...

No information is information.
A heavy piece.
What is NOT there, but should be.
The search that will never cease.
A pleasurable dynamic.
Like filling in the blanks and rounding out the form.
Control of information.
The struggle since we were born.
Science or Art?
You tell me.
Which will liberate you?
And set you free?
Information Theory!
But then how do you encode for uncertainty?
And with such limited degree.
Aren't we facing eternity?
Thus, who shall it be who...

Not Enough
First, they came for your mouth
then they came for your ears
then they took your eyes
and also your nose
but it still wasn't enough
Second, they came for your arms
and then your legs
that all belonged to them too
but it still wasn't enough
Third, they came for your heart
and then they took your soul
and your poetry along with it
you completely belonged to them

there's that german short-haired pointer again
it's taking a dump
i can't believe how sleek that dog looks
squatting
with its nose to the wind
it's owners must be proud
if i looked that good on the shitter
at work
i'd never close the stall door

This vile chemical splendor
This poison by any sane criteria
This wonderful horrible madness
Waiting to be lifted by the Songs of Angels
Onto the plain of infinite infinitesimal introspection
Oh, glorious knowledge
Take me to where I've never been
Show me the deepest most exalted truths
About me and you
But it is not the Songs of Angels I hear
