POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Been writing since I can remember. I mainly write for myself, but often times will share my work with others.
Detached
Can you understand?
The weightlessness of the soft sand
That pours through your veins
And enters your brain, only to find it
Detached.
The weightlessness of the soft sand
That pours through your veins
And enters your brain, only to find it
Detached.

Rough Enough?
Why do I long for
That feeling of flying,
It's so ecstatic,
Yet always cut,
Very sharply,
By impact.
Or is it the reverse?
Like dirt grinding
Into skin.
Sudden. Abrasive. Intimate.
White noise as air rushes by.
Forced from your lungs,
Or departed from mine.
Time slows down,
Movement speeds up.
Sensations run wild.
Tingling throughout the spine.
Pain, followed by pleasure.
Or is it the reverse?
The need for control,
The want to give in.
To lose it all in an over-gripped...

“Sudden enlightenment”
We all crave
To get a little twisted,
Or to feel a bit righteous.
We shouldn’t moderate life.
Our soul won’t expand.
I am an atom.
A piece of some puzzle, yet,
I don’t matter – neither do you.
To get a little twisted,
Or to feel a bit righteous.
We shouldn’t moderate life.
Our soul won’t expand.
I am an atom.
A piece of some puzzle, yet,
I don’t matter – neither do you.

Nightmares about nightmares
Last night I had a nightmare about having nightmares.
It was a simple one.
I was lying awake in bed,
Realizing once again that when I closed my eyes
The demons would run rampant again.
