The Ultimate Sacrifice
The children of Israel walked for 40 years on hot desert sand
in search of the promise land
It is human nature to want to reclaim our Paradise Lost
the question is at what cost
History is filled with the stories of charismatic leaders
some who turn out to be soulless bottom feeders
Like Charlie Manson and Jim Jones for power the yearn
only to crash and burn
In the end you better think twice
when they ask you to make the Ultimate Sacrifice

#Teamhumanity
No NBA or Baseball Opening Day
No run for the Roses this May
Because of an unseen enemy we are all under attack
now even our President must admit that fact
We are fighting against a Sharp Protein gone mad
causing people to die world-wide which is so sad
Things are getting scarier
because everyone is viewed as a carrier
Wherever you go folks are looking strangers straight it the eye
but won't even tell their neighbor's hi
This is causing some to question God's identity
and their faith in the Holy Trinity ...

Love In A Time Of COVID-19
Fate can be so cruel and mean
bc now I only see you on my computer screen
No warm embrace
or in person glace upon your face
It is almost like living it a time of war
with people even afraid to step out their door
Eventually, Hulu and Netflix become a bore
and the ghost town view outside my window an eyesore
"This too shall pass"
and as lovers we will be alone at last
I look forward to making new memories
and laying together enjoying a lake breeze
bc now I only see you on my computer screen

AG William Barr
is now the most corrupt one by far
Trump's entire administration is totally bizarre
he is running the country like an old Russian Czar
In this month of February
I sadly write this obituary
Because as US citizens we are victims of a Coup
and American Democracy as we know it is finally THROUGH

This Was All A Dream
Unlike Bobby Ewing in the shower scene
since 2016 many evil events were unforeseen
I fear the lost of our humanity
in a nation suffering from borderline insanity
50 service members with head trauma
fake impeachment trial drama
GOP trying to say the same thing happened under Obama
that is all BULLSHIT and you can run tell that to yo mama
In space they say no one can hear you scream
and unfortunately I will not wake up to find-this was all a dream

A Second Life*
As Artists to my surprise
we are given an immortal prize
Our work lives on after the clock is up on our earthly time
the ultimate present from the divine
Although, the price we pay maybe high due to sacrifice

Truth Isn't Truth
Truth Isn't Truth
now a Butterfinger is a Baby Ruth
Banana Pudding is now Apple Sauce
Thin Crust pizza is now Hand Tossed
At this point I am mentally lost
in the end what will be the cost
If we can't trust what people say
is our country one step closer to it's Judgement day
Will it implode like Old Rome into an immoral ball of fire
because all we care about is selfish desire
Or will a funeral pyre
be all that is left of our once great empire

ACT III
Life is a play told in 3 parts
struggle is the first Act and sometimes in prebirth it starts
Act 2 is survival
it beings upon our arrival
Once we leave our Mother's safe space
we enter a world that is one scary place
In which living can be a long physical and psychology nightmare
and sometimes more than a human can bear
The final Act is one of redemption
where we fight to rectify the evils we have done that we dare not mention
We pray our souls will be set free
then we come to the end of Act III
