Frozen on a Single Page
A hail of fear and rage
Fire sets the ground alight
We stay frozen on a single page
Waiting for the fight
The air is full of blue smoke
The scars can't be seen
Stand there Love and watch me choke
Red purple green
I don't know what a heart feels like
I'm not sure I even care
I can't feel love tonight
I can't be there
Everything real is locked away
Everything that hurts
So I survive another day
Drowning in this curse
I'll smile at you and hide my soul
It's dark and twisted too deep
I can never be a part...

Monster
A stolen breath dances free
Light and love hold on
Love me or hate me
The world will still go on
Tell me you love me
Tell me you do
Tell me you trust me
Join the queue
Hold me in awe
You know I'll succeed
But you can't love me more than me
Call me a liar
I am I know
Call me weird
A circus show
You can point and you can judge
Say I'm monster say I'm a freak
How you feel doesn't matter much
You can't hate me more than me
Light and love hold on
Love me or hate me
The world will still go on
Tell me you love me
Tell me you do
Tell me you trust me

My Heart Concealed
Walls surround every move
I have nothing I need to prove
I'm who I want to be now that I believe
Gates keep the whole world out
My mind is my protection
A prison, a shield
My castle my definition
I took the darkest parts of me
I've used them as my shield
Now it doesn't hurt to feel

Slowly every piece that hurt
They're fading from my mind
All the crazy thoughts I've had
They've made me blind
I will keep fighting on
I know I will succeed

I Will Always Break Free
So now I'm lost so far away
But there's nowhere else I'd rather be
Here I will forever stay
I've never ever felt so free
I've gone so far I can never turn back
I've lost my mind to me
Healed every tear sealed every crack
Hidden every key
I've broken free
There are cities and castles
Beyond gates and walls
There are raging battles
And masquerade balls
I can live free
There are worlds full of magic
Worlds ruled by science
Some have love
Others defiance
You can't tell me I'm not free

Fight to be Alive
The ticking grows louder every day
Hands fall round faces
Some memories fade
Can't slow down and can't ever stop
Keep slipping through both hands
Building defenses block by block
Then turning them into sands
Every step forward helps to fall
Every fall creates a fear
Just survive to build another wall
Learn to stop another tear
Relax for just a moment
Then fight to be alive
Keep on moving forward
Not just to survive

A Truth That's Mine to Bear
A thought has fallen from far away
A smile a laugh a choice
A harsh truth and a darkened day
A buried inner voice
The choice you made was meant for me
Though at first I didn't see it
These decisions have set me free
An escape from everything I've feared
The darkness helped me see the light
And now I'm on my own
I can remember what's right
I can learn from all the wrong
Because in truth you weren't a friend
I just wanted to see you there
Not a mistake but I was wrong again
Just wanted someone to care

Golden
The ghostly voice keeps drifting past
The moon is full and Golden
The stars are shooting down so fast
Because darkness was stolen
Stop running to cast a single glance
And realize the golden moon is higher
The colour seems to flicker and dance
It's not golden, it’s on fire
The earth is breaking, creating chasms
The stars fall through the cracks
The spirits dancing through ocean spasms
The souls keep flying past
It's just another normal night
Seen with a different view
It would be the most magical sight
If only you knew

Cage of Thorns
The stream is flowing, murmuring
It passes through drops of a thought
The war nearby is murdering
The frozen hearts are caught
The world is waiting to be changed
We need a revolution
There's chaos, everything's deranged
It's part of evolution
I won't be part of destruction
It's something I'll do without
My thoughts are under construction
You can go on and shout
Nothing moves hearts of ice
But we all want to change the world
Life is played with a rolling dice

Hiding Balance
Your balance and thoughts go off course
No understanding exists in your mind
And your quieted aches are worse
Life's memories left behind
The clock hands begin to slow
The light blinks with uncertainty
The only sound is of the crow
The dripping water matches perfectly

Whispers dance like solemn threads
Heartbeats so soft they can’t be heard
Mind is alive but almost dead
Eyelids flutter like wings of a bird
A slithering weathered song I hear

A shadow sweeps across the sand
Soft laughter fills the air
Giant waves crash land
Against shores of despair
Winds pick up and choke your breath
Darkness tries stealing the light
The cold drops down to death
You prepare to fight
Your sword is just a blade of fire
