I can feel alone
in a room full of people

I can feel isolated
with all my friends there

I'm stuck in my mind
there is no-one here with me

But why should I tell you?
you don't even care

The King first spoke to me
"It shall be by my decree,
the way you live
for I won't give
this power to Destiny".

The Queen then spoketh thus
"women do whatever they must
we shall shatter men
time and time again
as long as it benefits us".

The Knave then came to speak
as he did he turned his cheek.
"I shan't speak to that
for tis a fact
that its ugly, pathetic and weak.

The Fool just carried on
eyes downcast, and face drawn long.
He whispered to me
"one day we'll be free"...

There's a hole
in my soul
that the drugs
cannot fill.

I have tried
getting high
drinking beer
popping pills.

And I think
that the cure
can be found
in my will.

And the pain
in my life
is just part
of the thrill.
