Master of pain
Master of pain,
How do you fit in?
Crying then smiling
Feel then deal, so quick
Master of pain
Are you numb , did you quit?
Did the doc give you meds so you don’t feel a thing,
In the past you’ve had loss
You’ve had hurt
You’ve felt grief .
Master of pain, tell me what is the trick?
No tricks ,
no quick fix ,
no one comes equipped,
I master my pain without ignorance or bliss.
Head to the heart,
the connection,
the link,
Emotionally damaged from the things we think.
