POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Dig
I wake up and find your face
Its everywhere and all out of place
Always reminding me of the way
You're so much better than me today
So listen up!
You dig at me
Why don't you dig for the truth?
As a form of different education.
You pick at me
Why don't you pick on yourself?
As a form of your own validation.
You dig... At... Me.
I walk away from my mistake
And the bitterness of how you taste
Finally finding my own escape.. and
How I am so much better than you today!
You dig......
Its everywhere and all out of place
Always reminding me of the way
You're so much better than me today
So listen up!
You dig at me
Why don't you dig for the truth?
As a form of different education.
You pick at me
Why don't you pick on yourself?
As a form of your own validation.
You dig... At... Me.
I walk away from my mistake
And the bitterness of how you taste
Finally finding my own escape.. and
How I am so much better than you today!
You dig......

Whit & Whim or the 1 That Never Was
I never say what I should.
You walked away quietly, for good.
I've built women up in my head too much.
But I didn't this time, real you was enough.
You were taken, the whole time I knew you.
More time, I bided.
Waiting to steal you.
The most interesting girl I've ever met.
If I never see you again, I'll always regret.
A beautifully unique, lovely mind.
In another life I'd deserve you for mine.
Goodbye Whitney.
Not being honest today, I want to repent.
Don't think I'm obsessive.
Too old for fairy tale...
You walked away quietly, for good.
I've built women up in my head too much.
But I didn't this time, real you was enough.
You were taken, the whole time I knew you.
More time, I bided.
Waiting to steal you.

Don't think I'm obsessive.
Too old for fairy tale...
