I'm new to poetry and my writings are not the most developed but in time they will become more experienced. I have always found that writing my thoughts helps to clear my mind heart and soul and brings peace to me and helps me see things more

Rescuing the rescuer
He calls her his rescuer she saved him from destroying himself
Truth be told he actually saved her
Every day she walked in she would see him smile her way
She would smile back but then slowly turn away
The chemistry though unspoken could be felt from the start
But she had been hurt so many times she was protective of her heart
Many walls she had built from all the damage that was done
He could see the hurt in her eyes so her made their visits fun
He would smile he would laugh and even make a joke
His gentle words his caring eyes at her heart would poke...
Truth be told he actually saved her

Powerless
The moments in life when you see your loved one being hurt by an ugly unkind person. One that is vindictive only out for herself wanting to cause damage and pain for her own gain because she lost. You want to go to battle, wage the war let her know hes worth fighting for. You want to take that battle to protect him and yet you can do nothing. Your hands are tied, your words have to be stilled. Perfect Imperfection
Life is far from perfect but every now and then you find one of life's perfect imperfections. That person that makes your life complete and perfect even though like everyone they have their flaws this is perfect imperfection..
He's Adores the children I Admire him , he Believes in God and Bends to no man, he Cherishes me he's Chill , he Dedicated to his work and Devoted to his family

He's Educated and Edgy, he's Fun and Full of life he's a Gentle Godly man, he's Handsome inside and out

A child's hand
Little blonde curls on top of his head
His little cheeks all rosy red
His eyes bright blue big and wide
A mothers heart fills with pride
His tiny hand holds on to mine
He let's go from time to time
To chase a firefly or a ball he dropped
I take his hand as he reaches back up
Those curls are darker now
Those blue eyes have a hint of grey
He's off to school and then to play
He's learning his freedom and all that it brings
Responsibility, ,independence, and buy his own things
The years have past too quickly for me

Missing piece
Here they are all scattered around
Some on the table some on the ground
This is what most people see
Their life is like a puzzle
The corners in place the smooth edge is done
Making the picture has begun
Some pieces place so easy and smooth
Others you spend and hour or two
Life is like that for most of us
Oh so close not quite the right one
We want to see the picture complete
Many hours were spent trying to make ends meet
You hold in your hand one last piece
You place it smooth and gently

They'll tell you when I'm happy

A real moment
Everyone seems to think that I have it all together and most times I do. They seem to think that I can handle just about anything and most of the time I can. I feel like I am suppose to have all good days that I am always to have a smile and my chin is to be up. I fell like I'm not suppose to get mad about things or ever be frustrated. Im suppose to have all the answers and be on top of everything.
Well here is the truth. I do have bad days I don't always have it all together and there are days I just want to break down and cry and let you know I am not as strong as what you think I am....

Unspoken
She steps back in almost pure amazement, how could he know what she felt the very thought she had that moment? Is it possible her thoughts spoke out loud? She wore a smile even though her heart stung w pain. No, her voice was calm her smile strong but his heart listened.

Soul mates
There is a beautiful woman that means the world to me
I need to keep myself in check until I can set myself free
She knows that I love her and I know that she loves me
We are but bidding our time until it can be set free
Oh, but when the time does come
The world shall surely know
The woman that I speak of that has my heart aglow
Will have me down on one knee and begging for her hand
And for her to please marry me and to always be her man.
I met a man that has captured my heart
Every part of my life I want him a part

Amazed at the power of your love that could only come from God above
