I just write stories that may or may not rhyme. They mostly rhyme. Some of it is sexy, some of it sweet. A lot of it angry. Most are experiences turned ink blot, some just repurposed junk in my head. I write because sometimes, I need the room.

Stardust
Waning summer twilight
Dimples enticed.
Lazy pursuit of satellites
Navigating dreamy constellations.
We Ride wishes like beggars
Beyond troubles and treetops
Under the glow of new potential.
Hinged loosely upon unheeding comets,
We dodge the stars that Illuminate our broken pieces
Unknowingly cherished and welcomed.
Clutched and Gently craved.
Blissfully arranged
The contours of my palms etched
To embrace your shadows
Long before my fingertips brushed
The stardust from Your eyes.
Stitched nebulous expanse ...
Dimples enticed.

Invisible Ink
Pluck a loose feather
Prepare me for flight
Pretty little Sneak
In the dawning of night
Call me Sunshine
But extinguish the light
Shield the rehearsal
From all prying eyes
Stoical and cautious
Or so it's conveyed
Lured to jump in,
"It's perfectly safe"
Kiss of the flame
A Dirty little secret
Touch behind the curtain
Dare you to Keep it
Reach out on a limb
Step onto the stage
Take a breath, a quick bow
My audience awaits
I climb to the top
Of the pendulous...

Floating Ribbons
Evocative Beauty
Musical lilt of soul, Delivered
Felt.
Hands caress waiting skin
Bristling sensitivity
Awaken without catching my breath
My legs move through rustled sheets
Like ribbons, they dance
Searching for the perfect Flick of a wrist
While hunger grows stronger

Vocalized confession
Effortless bend to wills that Keep me floating

Paper Cities
I dip my toes in the sunlit bay of New Life
Watching the golden ripple of my design.
Lack of apology keeps me buoyant
As I slip with deeper intention
Breath growing sweeter with each draw, I hold it.
Never my own to keep… sweeter, still
Floating upside-down
In an idyllic stream of consciousness
Raspberry waves, supple with covetous healing
Embark unrestricted; storm beaten and evolved
Eagerly open to the sky
Awash with heartbreak and gentle chaos
I ponder.
Lain bare,
My hands tell the story my voice betrays...

Nosebleed
I don't think I'm angry enough...
Road raging drunks
Demanding sovereignty of the road
I didn't ask for conflict
I just wanted to get home
My son.
Still a child. 17...
My child.
I insisted that he stay.
Following my own advice
Still haunts me everyday
I can smell the man's beer breath
On my upper lip
I can taste his putrid hate
Every time that he spits
My forehead still Burns
From when he pushed his to mine
It throbs like a bomb
In need of more time
Words were exchanged, it's all now...

Busy chasing what you want
Forgotten what you need

A lonely fruitless point
Like raping Mother Nature

Lyrical Dragon
That lyrical Dragon breathing in my ear
Wondering why I'd forgotten the reason it's here
I speak written word to cure my affliction
Because every emotion runs Deep like addiction
I chase that rush like I'm comin Home
Destination: Freedom, Just over the rainbow
Dust off my pencils cuz I kick it Old School
Just to make sure you know every word is for You
Been clean for too long Word Free Sober
Let you forget... bet you thought it was over
But I feel it coming back, that language I speak
The bars fighting through me just to be...

Moon Chilled
Naked and chilled under moonglow.
Trepidation seeping into mossy earth
Dampened with beckoned anticipation
Magnificence
Under delicate skin spread thin
Treasure promised under a landslide of Possibility
But I'm,

A Moon Whispering Beast on the edge of Dawn
Cleanse me with cool earth
Beyond daybreak
In the shadows of Letting Go
Deepened breath that comes without weight nor burden
Freckle stained skin caked with purity
Dark and tacky with mud
Wise Mother.

Dreadful Wake
Sick with warm visions of there & Then
Linger meekly in the dreams you come to me in
Reaching out in desperate pain
To feel your kiss just once again
Fight the mourning, ignore the Light
I can touch Heaven when I close my eyes
When I must concede to that dreadful wake
Knowing a fervent wish does not a Life make
I proceed eyes open but exist in a fog
Take trips through melodies to avoid meeting you in Thought
Short moments to forget, longer ones to Pretend
That it hasn't been long since I was there when it was Then
