Dance for me, my good boys and girls
As I pull the strings that make you twirl
Sing my song to all the world
Let its lyrics slither past your lips in befuddled malice and vitriolic madness
Dance for your master
Though you don't even know you're slaves
You think it's your own rage you wear like a mask on your face
You think it's your own hate
You hate what you fear and I'll make you afraid
Afraid of every different face
Dance on, my faithful slaves
Play my song for all to misunderstand and take it out on their fellow man

I wish I was special
Special like you
You're perfect, aren't you?
I wish I was like you
I wish I was perfect too
I wish I was special
Everyone remembers you when you're special
When you're better than everyone else
When there's none more beautiful than yourself
When you're everyone's Heaven and they're all your Hell
I wish I was special too
Special like you
I'm not perfect and beautiful like you
I'm not loved by everyone, like you
I'm not better than anyone, like you
I'm nobody...

Old Bones
Old bones, diggin' them up again
I like to wear my sins like a chain around my neck
Forgive and forget is a concept I don't seem to get
Old bones, rattling like the last breath in my chest
Trying to inhale I choke to death on the past
Over and over again, my regret like a living death
And yet I dig up old bones again
Old bones and chasin' ghosts
Till I'm all alone again
Just me and some old bones

Her. Again.
I've tried to run, tried to hide
Still can't get get her out of my mind
It's like she's dug in deep
Sometimes I can't sleep
It drives me crazy cause she'll never be mine
I've tried to hate her, tried not to care
But still she's right there
And when she looks at me
When I hear her voice
My god damn resolve fuckin disappears
I've spent months trying to forget her
I'll never get her
But any progress I make
She can immediately erase
With a quick word
A stunning smile
I got it bad and...

Watch Me Swing
People standing all around
How they laugh and sing
And they're here for me! This wonderful crowd
They came to watch me swing
The word went round they'd brought me down
And dancing filled the streets
Men and women and little ones pranced!
Waiting to watch me swing
The judge and the gavel announced my fate
Decided by the jury
Guilty of murder in the first degree
Now this lovely town gets to watch me swing!
They asked me if I did it true
I told them merrily
I killed the bastard, his brother too!
Now come...
How they laugh and sing
And they're here for me! This wonderful crowd

Regret
Delirious images of what-could've-beens
Haunt my day like walking dreams
Regret twists my gut sick
The road not taken mocking me
If I could give it all up
For a taste of what I've already had
Would I so callously toss it aside
And become a ghost, lost in the past?
I ponder it as I take a sip
The pills already down
Not too late for a last regret
As I jump in to another memory and drown
Haunt my day like walking dreams

The Call
In a pool of blood
You stared up at me, unblinking
Unseeing, but still accusing
How could I do it?
You thought we were friends
Why do I have your blood on my hands?
I don't know what happened!
Something overcame me
And suddenly you weren't standing there anymore
You were lying there before me
And I was kneeling there, panting
Out of breath, covered in red, and I could see you weren't breathing
And I was screaming
I kept seeing these faces all around me
And they were laughing, and I was drowning
...

So peacefully, make not a peep
My heart thumos harder with each beat

The night is young, still time for fun

Hard to wait, I must hold on

I've stood back and watched so long
No more, time to reveal my love

I remember when I was down
Out and all about
Flying high in my own doubt
Another sip and then I lay back
Wake up quick, don't replay that
What's done is done and I can't change that now
But it catches up at some time
Some time I had to look into my own eyes
And see the things I'd done last night

The Angels Die
Hot red on freezing white
Another angel died tonight
Nothing's right in the world, now that angels die
Smokey gashes in the mist
That final, stone cold kiss
There's nothing left but to cry, now that angels die
We are but a breath in a gust of wind
We approach death the day our lives begin
The day we're born we start to die, but who'd have thought that angels could die?
Rivers of blood from barren eyes
Useless cries for a forsaken life
Some say I should rot in Hell, they're right
Since there's no Heaven,...
