Beach Raven Souls
The sea drys it's lips upon the land
The clouds look like they want to cry
The plastic cultures of the damned
Weave beneath a cameras eye
Greyed black feathers bend and spread
Their Talons perch upon the shore
Greyed black feathers unconquered

Haunted by the ghost of someone you used to love
Fifteen years and the burn still itches
Haunted by the thought of her voice
You the stray puppy
She the final word on love
Why does it still hurt?

Of an iridescent fissure

A young man heading north east

After the wilderness of youth
A spiritless well paid career?

Marital acquiescence
