Hide your heart,
Lock it away and throw away the keys,
I've become exactly who I didn't wanna be.
A danger to your heart, confusion to the mind,
A soulless demon to those who are blind.
I love you but I don't want you to be mine,
I don't wanna drown you,
Suffocate your light...
My heart is one that never healed over time,
I had to let you go,
I had to say goodbye...
Lock it away and throw away the keys,

Catfished
We talked, everything was going splendid,
Said to myself “I got me a new friend here”,
You seemed so cool even though we didn't talk very long,
Who knew the second I let my guard down everything would go wrong.
You said your birthday was coming soon,
“inviting you to my pool party, you won't be alone , you'll have fun too”,
I couldn't make it that day, so we planned a friendly get together for two.
Suspicions rose, I didn't pay attention to it,
Everyone I talk to is usually real with me,
“what makes this time so different ”. ...
Said to myself “I got me a new friend here”,
You seemed so cool even though we didn't talk very long,

I dove in...,
At first how peaceful it seemed,
Calmness of the water, blue, cloudy, sun kissed skys reflecting back at me,
I can't breathe...,
Struggling to get back up,
Pulling, pushing, shit! I can't get out,

Fears
The more numb I am, the less pain I feel
It seems like time isn't willing to help me heal,
Heal from the pain and hurt stirring inside,
The scars that I try to hide,
I'm so tired, I just don't have that fight!
I saw myself collapse while watching my sister,
She woke up, found me, blood everywhere, this time no blisters,
I felt her screams and tears burning through me,
Even though she's so little, it feels like she's the only one who knows me.
I can't leave her,
Fuck!, what the hell is wrong with me?!
I'm tryna suppress these...

Regrets
I regret not telling u “I love u” as often as I should have,
I regret not holding and hugging u longer, reassuring u that things get better in time,
I regret not reminding u of how precious u are,
I regret not reminding u of how blessed u are
All I've got are regrets and time.
Time to think,
Time to hurt ,
Time to heal,
These regrets,....burnt into my heart and mind,
Bad dreams, nightmares that won't go away,
Reminders of the mistakes I once made.
Only if u were here to listen, to advise, to tell me these bad dreams will go...

Is it weird that when we met I felt like it was faith,
I feel weird cause we smashed on the first date,
