there's nothing i can offer
except for my tears—
they too have now lost
their flavour...
all that's left is water...
plain and insipid;
not even worth a salt.
a day will come when
it will...dissipate as well
and i will have nothing

the stars cry
glistening teardrops frozen
forever...in the dark sky

Origami
The scars you see
are the testimony
of the twists and turns of life
Creases run sharp and deep
but they define my stride
Folded, pleated, ruffled
I cried in agony
but meaningful was the pain
for all in its grace
it shaped my identity.
a piece of paper so plain
turned into something beautiful
something extraordinary...
I'm work of art
I am life's origami
Unfold me
and you will find
a pattern in all its complexities

Your tender words fell upon me
like soothing drops of first rain
after a long dry
summer spell;
gently seeping into my being
fusing with my soul
A captivating fragrance
(So earthy
... yet heavenly)
arising... pirouetting
suffusing the trees, flowers
rivers and valleys...
and then lingering forever
in the air
everywhere...
locked in the arms of time
(y)our love
—aah a...

I never realised that...
while searching for the 'right' words
to express my feelings and emotions
I would find me...
after all poetry is a journey
within oneself...
