Soar
Poised
on the precipice of love.
My heart wants to soar
toward the whispers
calling me to
eternal bliss.
So I let go the fears
of lonely years
that hindered
my endless free flight.
In ecstasy, my
ecstatic wings
spread wide.
I grasp,
a hanging moment,
before soaring
into the utter joy
of endless lust
without a safety net.

The Currents
I'm water in a riverbed
guided by the currents.
When adversities
come as
boulders in my path
I yield to the currents,
wisdom and
power, surrendering
my control to their
natural flow.
I will remain fluid,
going around and over
each obstacle,
gaining strength
through learned
experiences.

stagnant, waiting
for something
to move.
It's the pressure
of the currents

Depression
It woke me my dreary skies
wrapping me inside my melancholy.
I felt miserable within its depressive touch
like a child with a fever,
I covered up.
Allowing sorrow to hold me through
lifeless strokes across my unhappiness with
uninspiring whispers that
lowered my resistance.
Sadness feed me,
nurtured my sorrow while
dejection’s unhappy melody
sang the blues to my despondence.
In misery I fell off the cliff inside my woe
becoming Depression’s crowning glory
wrapping me inside my melancholy.

Slapping old doctor for his sect
