The naked tree looks so alone
Empty, cold and barren.
Only bugs visit now
Preyed on by the spiders
And the moss and fungus bloom
Nothing left to bide us

Why does the universe exist?

Why is the void volume?
Existentialism cubed
Why Y + why X + why Z?
Thoughts like these mess with my head
It seems to me perverse
To say we're products of another universe
It reminds me of the Christians who
Say that God made me and you
Someone says well who made God
Not realising that it's odd
That the same argument works
When it comes to universe seeding universe
Try to imagine what occurred
Prior to the big bang being heard
