The chips falling to the ground
Are my rattles
My time is kept by leaf rustle

Make the next winter like

Would you even care if you knew them today.
I always tried to listen to my elders
Few and far between we too far south to mean
Anything important
Anything of relevance.
Anything that made sense.
I loved you well before this.
I will love you later.
