Life's been cruel to me so far
If I could catch a falling star
I wouldn't wash away my scars
I'd piece together all the shards
Of broken glass
Shattered years past
Filthy memories left unbathed
But no one walks away unscathed
Long ago I got the point
Aching bones and creaking joints
Any comfort is a privilege
Afforded only by indifference
I see the light
Can't close the distance
Sprinting toward sweet deliverance
Long after my feet are blistered
Where most would yield,...

Call me the fallen
You test me, I'm all in
This baggage I'm hauling
Is strange and appauling
You know not who you face
Forgotten, no trace
The lot that you chase
Gone rotten, erased
Empty is your future
Lonely is your now
Your existence is putred
You will be disemboweled
Stagnant is my hatred
Into the winds, I howl
Your demise is fated
Soul behind your eyes is fowl

Before I Wake
Black is my heart
I wake with a start
From nightmares so sweet
Wish I could return
To work I depart
To practice my art
I might find a treat
A victim to burn
I'll set body aflame
No face and no name
You're merely a doll

From the odor I run

Nothing but patience
To commit just the right crimes
To be shocking the nation
I'm preparing the quicklime
For my grim infatuation
Take all your stations, because
The show's about to start
I've prepared with boots and gloves
I'm aiming for the heart
This valentine's day
I plan to steal it away
I'll shoot an arrow straight through it
I'm cupids harrowing druid
There's nothing keeping me hinged ...

Deep underground
Where the bodies are buried
Fall asleep to the sound
Rhythmic, rowing the ferry
Souls being carried
From where they were found
Frightened and wary
Quick glances around
What’s next may be scary
Their ghosts may be drowned
Stay composed, but just barely
Try not to look down
Anxiety heightens, tensions tightly wound
Where angels tread nary
Fears spoken aloud
Matters not if you’re very
Obscure or renowned
Ferryman ignores queries
To fate we are bound ...

Before this grievance has grown
Too great for you to even atone?

What's up my sleeve will be shown
I'm patient,
But you'll be cleaved to the bone
You've been deceived, little drone
Witness the evil I've honed
On the darkest day that we've ever known
In fear you drown,
It's time to reap what you've sewn
When I look down,
You're not asleep but you're prone
Soon to be bound,
Six feet deep and alone
I wear the crown,

It's always there, watching
Gaze on my back never lifts
In every shadow stalking
Were I to quickly turn to see

Beautiful, haunting melodies
Are all I need to set me free
Enchanting me so cleverly
Once more, I shed my skin
Revealing that which lies within
Spirals, through my head spin

Inferno born of sin

Become willing slaves
Brainwashed until home and loved ones
You no longer crave
Erode your will, bite your tongues

Humans deceiving
Induce lucid dreaming
Illusions of freedom
Only few can see them
For what they really are
Punishment and reward
Pavlovian conditioned
In an oasis imprisoned

Observing you from your best angle
The embodiment of a fresh angel
I felt butterflies
From my stomach rise
Before caught in a web and entangled
In my chest there resides
In the hollow inside
An eight legged critter that dangles
Find the path to my heart
And there you will stay
To admire silk art
I'll show you which way
In chains
In my ribcage
Getting enraged
Venomous veins
Spinneret strains
Innocence fades
True nature revealed
No escape or appeal ...

Blood Flood
Open the flood gate
Where oceans of blood wait
Skeletal vessels undulate
On restless waves of hate
They ferry the last surviving shreds
Of sanity, not yet painted red
Conjured by my tainted head
Unsure if I'm alive or dead
It doesn't matter
For there is no shore
Immeasurable fathoms
To this ocean's floor
When the storm clouds gather
And the crimson mass roars
It will swallow them faster
Than a starved carnivore
Where oceans of blood wait
