POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I'm Glycolosis. There is no special meaning. Your obsession with meaning is unnatural. Go watch t.v. It's better for your state of mind.
Free from Her, but Not the Memory.
I was told I belonged,
at the bottom of a pit,
a monster lacking self control,
an evil little shit,
I'd pick fights I knew I couldn't win,
I'd do things,
just 'cause they bore the label 'sin',
I'd kiss girls,
then just leave them there to cry,
told all my teachers,
'Go fall in a hole and die!'
but my heart,
it ached for a friend,
a kindred soul,
who I'd be with till the end,
I thought I'd found her,
but then the end came too soon,
she kissed me then left me,
to weep and croon,
and lick my wounds,
but now I'm back,...

A Farewell
Old suicide note I keep in my wallet to remind myself how much better my life has gotten.
-----------------
All I have left inside,
is a shell of the soul that died,
a cup of the tears i cried,
and thoughts of suicide,
and though i welcome,
oblivion's sweet kiss,
as I stand upon the precipice,
and step off the ledge,
into sepulcher's black abyss,
I cannot abide,
being unjustified,
in heeding sorrows dark cry,
so while the winged seraphim,
and the horned teraphim,
in unison sigh,
"You are a fool to die,
for the...

Frost Shepherds
You ok, Boy?” my old man grumbled through his moustache. I shook my head to clear it of all the morbid thoughts inhabiting it like bats crowding an attic. Just a month ago the orphanage had been wiped out in a blizzard. I had watched frost batter windows and crush foundations while the icy winds carried the screams to the town center, where I stood watching the storm envelope the far off building. I felt the icy blast hit my face, freezing my tears to my cheeks.
“Boy!”
The gruff voice startled me back into the present. I looked over at my father’s stack of fruit and notice it was so...

Freed by Death
I grimaced as the splinters and blisters in my hand pressed against the wooden oar with each stroke. Our Greek overseer looked over us with his narrow, ferret-like face, his beady eyes glinting cruelly in the scarce light of the lower deck.
The only sound one could hear were the grunts and pathetic whimpers of the other galley-slaves, and the clinking of chains, all slowly being drowned out by the ever prevalent sound of the hull groaning and creaking in protest as it was tossed about in the waves.
The trapdoor leading out topside burst open and Odysseus, taking the...

Hunting Shadows
My past eludes me,
runs through the night,
and while love soothes me,
I want to run and fight
To chase the tears across the forest,
a sea of trees,
but more would be best,
and I find and lose, cry and seethe
I've lost my way,
its hopeless now,
but I have to say,
I like what I've found
I've found myself it seems,
with big gold eyes,
that glow and gleam,
and fangs like razors, sharp as knives
And as the chase resumes,
I begin to smile,
as I rush past,
each grassy mile
Oh yes indeed,
I've...

Mon chaton féroce
My head hears music,
in her moans,
as I feel her shudder,
in my bones
Can't tell where she ends,
and I begin,
As we partake,
in delicious sin
I slap her down,
then eat her up,
she loves the sting,
Can't get enough
The beast inside,
croons,
and sighs,
for my toy,
cannot deny,
(though she has tried),
anything I may desire,
she fulfills my need,
and yet still incurs my ire.

A Touch
Rage and Passion,
touch and taste,
feel you humming,
leather,
lace,
pain and heat,
taste your skin,
live forever,
touch again,
touch you here,
kiss you there,
push me farther,
and we'll be there,
crack of leather,
whispering lace,
along every curve,
my fingers trace.

Oh, the Humanity!
To be human is to,
glory in the grotesque,
excel in the burlesque,
and burn in the dark,
with a wicked grin,
smothering sparks,
like some god of sin.
Of all the things,
I could have been,
why did I have to be,
that monster, Human.

Remember Anareivax
Blood is love,
outweighed by hate nonetheless,
I remember a thrill,
dark,
undressed,
a hunger,
like need bearing bliss,
and here I thought,
it was endless.
But how quick the flame died,
a once powerful love,
firmly denied,
a heart beats its last beat,
as beating feet,
of that fugitive run,
fleeing from me,
as I lay stunned
Who am I without you?
Hollow,
and undone.

I remember a thrill,

But how quick the flame died,

No Tie, No Problem (response to Birthday suit Comp)
A line is traced,
down skin unending,
starting from the lips,
and finally spending,
quality time,
worthy of rhyme,
in a place frilly and fun,
gasping at the wet wet sun,
as i run my hands over you,
in a fun little suit,
devoid of coat,
or tie,
but that is,
perfectly fine.

A Metaphor
Seething,
rumbling with heat,
breathing,
becomes no easy feat,
for the basilisk craves light,
and will turn day,
to night,
as it consumes the stars,
and devours the moon,
all the while,
still hungry for you.
As the beast breaks his chains,
I bind you with yours,
as we work in tandem,
you on all fours,
made of light,
the hole in my chest,
envelopes you in night,
you become the sun,
getting hotter and hotter,
it becomes harder to run,
from the supernova,
completely undiminished,
by the light of my...

Antony's Lament
Dumb mouths gape.
Noble ichor,
Rushing to escape,
With unholy vigour.
And from whence
Was this blood let?
---From noble Caesar,
Was this blood spent;
The grim pall his sheet,
The sepulcher, his bed.
But Ate will ride,
Hot on traitors’ heel,
Crying ‘Havoc’
With fury, and zeal
Flay and peel
Unkind cutters
And through Rome’s gutters,
Drag traitors’ names,
Besmirching their fame
No longer,
Are his many mouths dumb,
For I am his rage
And I will be his tongue.
----This I swear,
Lest my name not...
