Our Twisted Creations
Years pass by as seconds tick by with indifference
Still we fight and fight and battle the coming sunrise
With no hope given away and no doubt taken away
We are broken beyond repair, but our bodies remain flawless
The days have become an excuse to lay beneath hell
With tears in our eyes and pleas in our lungs
With no love given away and no hate taken away
We are the architects lost in our own twisted creations
Please, be released from these chains
Your wrists show signs of aging
The iron falls away with one breath
And no marks are seen...

The Enlightened Masquerade
This night is the sum of all fears and freedoms
The sunset was seen by none but I felt it pass
I felt the horizon as my fingertips touched glass
The veil has been lifted, Welcome to Nirvana
Lungs are filled and emptied with ignorance
Foolishness accepted by all and cast down
I felt the pulse of the nation rise and fall
The shroud has been lifted, Welcome to Eden
Hearts are held with such care and grace
Carried through hell to heaven for others
I felt the blood of a billion angels

This Desert of Souls
The stars have fallen once more, The horizon seems so hopeless and disheartened
The planets become misaligned, The sun awaits its moment for all time
The fear has become realized, As the skies above burst into cloudless grey
Tonight has become confused with tomorrow, Lie with me beneath this illusion
Speak into my ears, My eyes need not your harsh meanings
Hold my hands, They tremble and my knees quiver on steady ground

Fighting for every last inch of ground, We throw ourselves upon the machines
Fighting for every last freedom we’ve found, We throw ourselves upon the battlefields
Whether for god or country, We have given every ounce of blood we contain

I Am Not Afraid
Every sunset must fade into darkness, Every glimmer of light will dwindle
As the day turns into night, As the blackened abyss consumes the light
I realize another sunrise will lead to a new day, A day closer to my end
The only assurance I have is now, The future holds no peace in my mind
I will not waste this moment, I will not let the seconds tick by in apathy

Restore the past, to rebuild your future, to fortify your present
Memories cloud your mind instead of strengthening your will
Scars bring you to your knees instead of strengthening your shoulders
The weight of the world is but an expression meant to justify self-pity
I will no longer allow weakness to consume me, I have forsaken my vices

Week of The Restless
Behind the cobwebs and rust, Lies a past better left in a box
Beneath the mistrust and dust, Lies a love better left unspoken
Between floors of this house, Lies a monster better left undead
Betraying the lion and the mouse, Lies are told and hope unsaid
Nailed to the floor and jailed by the door
A hopeless mistake and daring escape
Crossed by self and rotting on the shelf
A useless word spoken through gritted teeth

A Thousand Damned Souls
Where do we turn from here, on the road of the lost
Where can we run to from here, constantly dealing with the cost
What can we do to turn away, our eyes are addicted to this
What do we do when we run, escaping death’s kiss
The city of the damned gives birth to a thousand damned souls
Thrown to the wolves and covered with bloodied holes
Bitten by teeth and scratched with claws that demand sacrifice
Given all they can, Broken till they can’t stand, This is out of hand
Fed poison as meals and made to lie and cheat and steal
Breathing in gas...

Anchors
Attach the anchors to my feet
There is no more horizons for me to see
I have been all there is for me to be
Now I want to sink to the bottom of the sea
After every night spent here in this moment
I glance up to the moon wishing I could hold it
Seeing the sun and thinking I could mold it
But all I ever did was take this life, I stole it
Every day was just an opportunity
To rise above with glorious maturity
Instead I drowned myself into my obscurity
Giving in to every senseless insecurity
Feeling numb and crushing coke
