Chaotic Compass
I fall in love with you more, and I fall in love with you less
Is this a test or a problem that needs to be addressed?
Who truly makes my heart beat outta my chest
I look to the North, South, East and West
Traveling the miles only doubles the stress
My mind a maze confused and insecure,
Highway congested I’m in need of a detour
To be sure, to ensure the balance of my mental temple
it could all be so simple, at least that’s how it sounds,
as my doubt gains the pounds, made me the joker of all clowns
I can see IT! Through bloody balloons no...

I don’t know how it started, we derailed and departed
Running through jungles, Nathan Drake “Uncharted”
Flying with “Sully” Tom Hanks couldn’t stop it
And now we hot again, “New Flame” incarnate
“A twilight goon”, injecting you with emotional monsoons
“By the light of the silvery moon”
Step into my red room and face your doom
To a theater near you it’s coming soon
Illuminating your gloom, get you higher than shrooms

Blinded by Invisibility
For so long I thought I was invisible, but now I see I’m visible
So much inside, constantly denied
I was always in plain sight I never tried to hide
Always looked pass me or through me as if I wasn’t there
Only now when there are smudges I’m visible from the glare
And now you can see what’s been lurking underneath
What’s been hiding in the deep
Expensive conversation, sit down and have seat
Who lied and said that talk was ever cheap
How can you be so enlightened and so dark?
Dim a raging fire to a spark
Too...
So much inside, constantly denied

Haplessly Searching
I haven’t picked a brain in a minute,
I haven’t switched a lane in a minute
Been on cruise control till the finish
Search for souls is never-ending
You have to run the race to win it
But my patience has a limit
How long will this go before we end it
Must have been too strong in the beginning
Feels like no ones reading the messages that I’m sending
Got me depleting all the energy I was lending
Losing the thrill of the hunt
Can no longer battle because my sword is blunt
Tired of performing flips and stunts ...

Numb
I never see you happy and I wondered why is that
I had question after question but I know you hate chit chat
Holding in smiles for so long, your pride has multiplied and grown strong
So you choose to be still and choose not to feel,
Reinforcing your shield,
Putting up your guard to wait for something real
Took a chance and all your hope was killed,
The sign said stop and yet you chose to yield
Why display a smile that’s tarnished, destroyed by love and all its carnage
Sense-less and depressed, while you keep your emotions...

See me World
Young and old defines my soul
Black and bold my history shows
Its like you already know me just not my name
Such is fates twisted little game, but I still choose to put my heart on display
Sign sealed delivered, weeks later returns to sender
Thought I would set the world on fire,
But you can’t even see my smoke signals
I’m just another one of America’s hidden figures
Still scared of my deepest fear, of my greatness beyond measure
My real fear is to show you my dominance and you not accept my prominence

The list
I find it liberating, in stating
So I’ll be daring while I’m sharing
Had fatties and baddies
Ones with a fatty
Had sticks and bricks
Faithfuls and tricks
Ones that made me drool
And then played me for a fool
Carmels and cocos
White chocolates with strawberry cream
And dark chocolate wet dreams
Those with splashing waterfalls
Those that show up in no draws
I’m a man of passion
Of late night action
I’m just telling my story, don’t want to be boring

The Law of Attraction
Anybody
At any time
Anywhere, that is the law of attraction
Any conversation, about any manner of topics
Any smile any wink, any frown, that is the law of attraction
A laugh, a joke and you both smile
A kiss even at the wrong time that is the law of attraction
A look back at a familiar face with a brand new line of sight
When you know it’s wrong and you know you shouldn’t
That is the law of attraction…
It does not care you have no choice
That is the law of attraction…
At any time

The Past, I often look back
My past was lit, so I beg your pardon if I have to dip
Back into the memories of catastrophes, loved them all fashionably
So when I sit back and recap and daydream of relapse
I go back for the best parts of the worst times,
Late nights surfing highways and byways just to lay by you sideways
We ended things abruptly cause I couldn’t have things my way
Made love to love songs and slow songs, we wrestled with no clothes on
Those moments we prolonged, now those days are long gone
My consciousness cloudy, but I see it all clearly; I see no wrong to long...

The Mission
Evening grows late and my phone rings
It’s almost as if it starts to sing, so I know what it means
It’s that time again to fulfill The Mission
Cause whenever she calls its with wicked intentions
It isn’t long before she’s standing before me in all her glory
Down on her knees performing for me, now I’m ready to see what she came to show me
Such a tease, she says wait a bit longer as my girth grows stronger
She’s a pro so it doesn’t even alarm her; now let’s go a bit farther
I want what’s underneath, so graciously she lets me peek
