Complicated Inquires
Complicated Inquiries to an elevated viewer,
I promise that I'll be straight up
And teach you to subdue her.
But why ask Me these questions
When you don't want My real answers?
This anger that you hold onto -
Metastasizing Cancer.
I want to see the best for you.
I hope you do as well.
But here you are, you tortured soul,
Just burning up in Hell.
There's oh so much that you can do,
Just start right where you are.
Your expectations keep you trapped
In the trunk of your own car.
You have the key,...

Mortality climbs faster.
Planet's ecosphere purging the weak.
Forced isolation complicating cohabitation.

Find the answers you seek.
Dance the awkward dance,
Field your harsh demands.
Listen only to productive critiques.
Gotta stay alive,
Find your inner drive.
Defy self-doubt and see you're unique.

INUNDATED
Flooded. Tumbling ‘round like the dull rock you think you are.
You are a paperweight.
Pressing down in your corner of the earth.
What is the impression that you leave?
Keep crashing down the river.
Allow the difficulties to hurt as pieces of you are being RUBBED GROUND SCRAPED BROKEN ERODED off of yourself.
Seriously, FRAGMENTS of things you THINK you need.
Pebbles of what SOCIETY guides you by are just that,
PEBBLES.
Toss them BACK into the bed of the stream.
It’s the dream...

Glance across the way. Exchange looks.
Find a nook.
Get lost in lust, lost in time,
The last bell chimes.
Here we are - You & I,
Stuck. Trapped. Locked in.
Find your lap, sit down for a while,
Kiss your toothy grin.
Hop up, run to the stacks.
Transport back to an era
Where the Montagues and Capulets feuding
Is Proof of Shakespeare looting the treasure chests of our poetic hearts.
Should we even start?
The answer, yes.
The best, worst, and only time I've ever had library sex.
