White Beach (A palindromic poem)
White sandy beaches and beautiful coral reefs
Pleasing to everyone's eyes
Playful sounding waves glisten to the golden rays
While kissing your shores
Memories were made forever in a lifetime
Carved in hearts of gold
Always pretty as ever
It lies waiting just for you
Come share my dreams and bask in the glory of our beloved island paradise

Cowards of the night
Rambling about their lost fight
About liberty
Zany actions of protest
Yield nothing but ridicules
Party opinion
Equate violence with guns
Against another
Control and regulations
Energized debates on-going
Make laws difficult
Against gun acquisition
Killing could go down
Enjoy peace and harmony
Respect the law of the land
Weird and mixed feelings
Of isolation displayed
Razed state of mind
Leads to evil intentions
Dying without...

Gone With The Gun
Senseless killings beyond my comprehension
A human tragedy without apprehension
The whole nation mourns so does the heaven
Gloomy days shrouded the yuletide season
Young lives were gone because of a gun
How many more shall perish before it's gone
Many hearts were filled with grief and broken
Memories were etched on our souls as a token
Gun control and regulations became a loud cry
Some lawmakers agreed - it's worth a try
But for an association who likes to keep it high ...

Doom's Day Aftermath
There once was a poet named Poetryman
He was such a hunk of a man
Who started a poem competition
Something about earth's destruction
Lost everything, including his woman
The scientists missed their predictions
Because the earth was in collision
Chaos was everywhere
My lady was nowhere
Dark clouds blurred my vision
The earth rumbled and tumbled
I was disoriented and troubled
Total darkness shrouded my being
Modern gadgets useless for seeing ...

(This is a tribute to a hometown friend, who inspite of his handicap, use it as an inspiration for his art and music.)
There is this man from Virginia
Who grew up with dyslexia
He originated dyslexart
That's how he called his art
He's the son of Victor Oteyza
He started a band called Tutubi
Performed the best as he can be
Invented a unique guitar
Looks like a work of art
Hear them play and dance like a bee
This man calls himself Julian
I thought he was Mongolian
He performs magic
As if life...
