A Hidden Dream
The clouds were scattered all about.
Like cannon fire had pierced the sky with an agenda.
An angel and I went walking in the woods one day.
We barely made it out of the fray.
The trees bent down and told me I was weird,
then my baby upping disappeared.
You took this golden day,
put it on the shelf high up and away.
Let it turn dark and nasty grey.
We drink to meet our new desires,
villains conspire to bring it all down with fire.
Hey lady did you know what was in your garden bower?
I brought you rubies from atop the jeweled tower....

Halloween Dreams
Violent is his croon
for the penetrating moon
So that we might bathe
In it's ever growing gloom.
Ghosts howl in melancholy melodies
Skeletons dancing horrific steps sullenly
Jack-O-lanterns are aglow
Halloween dreams are left to grow
Monster hitch hiking
Dracula is kept waiting
Smooth driving
A feast of blood
And Halloween is but a memory
for the penetrating moon
So that we might bathe
In it's ever growing gloom.
Ghosts howl in melancholy melodies
Skeletons dancing horrific steps sullenly
Jack-O-lanterns are aglow
Halloween dreams are left to grow
Monster hitch hiking
Dracula is kept waiting
Smooth driving
A feast of blood
And Halloween is but a memory

Midnight Skies
I've been waiting for midnight skies.
Too see the moon reflected in your pretty eyes,
but nobody told me that I should watch my back.
Just sit and wait for a spell.
Remember days gone past and try not to dwell.
There's enough crystal cracked sorrow in this world,
enough for infinite tomorrows
I only said that you could borrow...my heart.
Too see the moon reflected in your pretty eyes,
but nobody told me that I should watch my back.
Just sit and wait for a spell.
Remember days gone past and try not to dwell.
There's enough crystal cracked sorrow in this world,

Life, Is What The Future Brings?
Brothers and sister surround me.
We gaze upon the sunrise, as if it was painted by God himself.
They ask me questions.
To which I create answers appropriately.
The first season is upon us, and I'm scared.
Dearest mother and dearest father, would you remain proud?
A son, viewing immense horrors of this world,
and bringing baggage passed down, again and again.
How many sins, and how severe does it take,
for Jesus to turn and walk away.
Forever a dark day.
When I'm perpetually up on a tree,
I'll let you know how it feels.

Longing For The Garden Night
Cool and quiet,
the summer air has languished with the sunset,
and we we're left with out stretched arms waiting for the new wine.
Welcoming change as if greener grass
would bring us unspeakable pleasures.
Our thoughts are forever brooding and brewing,
as memories last forever in celestial and demonic eternity.
Secrets will keep.
As long as we remember who we are,
and what meaning a promise can bring.
Lines drawn in the sand,
a foot crosses and breaks views.
With transgression admitted the secret is out,
and I watch her gentle grace...

Storm's Memories
Amber lights against a midnight blue.
What once was aglow has dissolved into...
the black.
Joy filled memories are so easy to forget.
Your left standing there with a mull thought and cigarette.
Simple storm, your quiet and brooding,
a lit up sky filled with bountiful jesting.
My back is now turned because the wind came blowing.
Mammoth malice has swept me away.
Carry me, carry me to fine cloth and restful heads.
Where high dreams are achieved,
and gardener's plant there ever youthful seed.

Battle Of You
Hear the wind, faintly blowing.
It whispers names of the dead.
Smell the flowers, slowly showing.
They were jewels in your garden.
See the dancer, gracefully flowing.
She was a heart's old desire.
Taste the fruit, ever growing.
Forbidden things exist forever.
Touch the lover, regretfully knowing.
Hand in hand in a dog eat dog.
It whispers names of the dead.
Smell the flowers, slowly showing.

A Rope Named Hope
Throw the rope
they call hope.
Morning star deaths not far,
hand the dirty ones bars of soap.
The moon is now here with an eclipse
children scream, just another premature apocalypse.
Minds made up, it's come this,
reaching out for pointless bliss,
land is covered in secrecy and mist.
Chaos magic at Earth's core,
I thought this was forgotten lore,
evil is what I now adore.
Heaven & Hell,
can't you tell
which one has the louder bell?
She threw upon me her favorite spell.
That's when my mind began to rot,
I turned to...

What's Mine?
Where is the end to end all ends?
Perhaps it is being carefully planned.
Don't judge me for going off the bend.
I'll let you know when I need your skills to mend.
My life is an unwritten story,
made up of poetry and secrets buried to deep to tell.
If I keep running I'm sure to go to Hell.
I am too afraid to look at you, touch you, and love you.
So why don't you come save me, cure me, help me get closer to you.
Come and take the second seat and drink my wine,
before the Devil comes and takes what's mine.

The Storm In My Drink
"Thunder, thunder",
the old man mutters.
Suddenly it's hard to think.
"What did you put into my drink?!"
Cold, I lay down on the floor.
Paralyzed by the sound of a creaking door,
footsteps coming, they are not far.
I hang on tightly to a shooting star.
Under the big top the freaks are aplenty.
I just spent my last two pennies,
all the ballroom dances and private dollar screenings.

Dreams Of Nonsense
The change is in the air not your pocket.
When a raven becomes like a writing desk,
that's when I know,
my dreams are the best.
Stay awake,
stay awake,
open your mind.
Expand the narrow road.
When the new ones begin to rise,
know that you'll be rewriting all the stories through your eyes.
Magic grows inside your head,
cleaver teachings of the cleaver wizard.
Darkened paths are where you're led,
on your shoulder a malevolent lizard.
Fall into the spider's hole.
Entangled in your worst fears,
so quick to sell your soul,...

Hello Again My Dearest Friend
Hello Heaven & hello Hell,
I remember thinking of you
when I threw pennies in a wishing well.
Skies are turning dark and misty blue.
Please hold still while I put a spell on you.
I'm sorry for the ever growing ignorance.
Don't stand in the way of the ever sweeping pestilence.
Take the character of vice.
Go ahead and roll the dice.
Try long, try forever,
tame the darkness,
alone, forever.
