And animations crowned to protect the light          
Told stories of medieval schemes, hooded witches and apple bites          
Taught the divide between good and evil is black and white          
              
As the fires stoked, they dream of conquering those frights         
Blinded by the smoke, they ask where to aim their sights          
Self-anointed heroes ordered to fire at spotlights          
Their pointed arrows plant the seeds of their children’s fight

I think it's time to go back awol, these last few months have been no fun at all
All it took was one call, just can’t keep lying
I’ve been slowing dying, Solo dolo mode activated
Swear I’ve been trying, This is far too belated
The lonely loner is on the prowl, no I didn’t throw in the towel
Back to the Brown liquor, could care less if they frown or snicker
Should have switched back quicker, I just kept getting sicker
