When everything is going right
When it gives you a reason to live

I wake one morning,
I live one day,
I'd try to see passed you,
But you're in the way.
You're all I can see,
The air I breathe,
If I had only one breath,
You'd take it away.
Almost two years,
I can't believe it's true,
I can't wait to kiss you,
And make love with you too.
Forever I'll love you,
Or maybe a day more,
I don't know, all I know is,
I love you, from my core.

Cabin
A cabin's located on the front hill.
A fire burns inside.
Blankets lay across the floor,
Under which we hide.
The world sings a different song,
Than the night before.
Symphonies being created,
Right outside the door.
Winter air leaks through the walls,
Nipping at our skin.
Tangled in each other's arms,
We close our eyes and listen.

Makes you happy for several years,
And yet it never mattered more.
Friends hold your hand,
But can't hold your soul.
For what a precious life that lived,
Enough is what we could never give.
Never enough to prove our love for you,
And now you've made it into the sea of blue.
Loved to no end,
Never enough to give you the love you deserved.
And as you're gone now
Never enough to realize what we lost.
Never enough time to show that love.
But we try and give it to you now.
Take it with you as you go,
As you tread along...

My place in the sky,
Are you moving nearby?
Are you there waiting for me,
When things go awry?
Will your gates open,
At my faithful return?
Or will you stay closed,
Because I refuse to turn?
If I die, before my time,
Will you accept me?
What then will I learn?
Heavens above me,
Grab my spirit, and lift.
I will not remain much longer,
and if you don't do it,
Then I'll make the shift.
