POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I am more leaning towards a modern day Edgar Allen Poe.
Night Surgeon 1888
Alas, the night has come at last,
Hiding every inch of life,
And who would I be, to disagree,
I hold no tolerance for simple strife,
Though I must say, indeed,
That you mouth would be better shut,
Nothing though, I cannot fix,
With a simple nip and simple cut,
Who am I, you might of asked,
Before or after you fade to black,
Night surgeons have no need for names,
So one could simply call me Jack,
Now I do believe this case is bad,
In fact the worst that I have seen,
It seems my knife has taken a liking,
To both kidneys and your...

Heaven Knows.
Her eyes pierce like bullets through cloth,
Ripping so got damn perfect,
Whispers sweet-nothings in my ears,
Telling me how much it's worth it,
And there I am...her willing victim,
I beg for more whispers of fairy-tales,
Raising the gun to my head, I smile,
Love is blind where all else fails,
She puts her hand on top of mine,
Tells me to hold it steady,
Bundles me within her arms,
And will tell me when I'm ready,
I sigh at last, my final breath,
Hoping it's all over soon,
Because even when we sit so close, ...

Somewhere...over some rainbow.
Rainbows seem so far away,
Unicorns just cannot be real,
For every unicorn would be hunted,
And there would be to much gold to steal,
Fairytales can never exist,
Because fairies don't have tails,
No wolf will sit there lurking,
As you picks flowers behind the trails,
There are no shoes made of glass,
To cut and tear your feet,
No true love's kiss to awaken,
A curse that makes you sleep,
So is it really to hard to understand,
Why I want you to stay,
When unicorns will never exist,
And rainbows seem so far away?
Unicorns just cannot be real,
For every unicorn would be hunted,

Misunderstood (Competition version)
To some I am too tall,
Others I am to fat,
They speak truth intwined with lies,
Of how I could be that,
I look different than you,
Or do you look different then me?
What is this 'normal' that you speak of?
Because 'normal' could never be,
I'll hide behind my imperfections,
Since you keep throwing them in my face,
You will never see the true me,
My soul I will encase,
My hatred will grow stronger,
Eventually I will become you,
I will hurt others the way you hurt me,
I will be born again,...

Truth is..
My arms were meant to hold you,
Not shield myself against your rage,
Tears fleeing from my eyes,
Getting use to familiar pains,
My hands were meant to comfort,
Not try to grasp hold of what's not there,
My heart was going to love you,
Now full of rips and tears,
My body was meant to cuddle,
With you so close to me,
Now sleeping on opposite sides of life,
Leaving empty spaces in-between,
But my mouth is here to tell you,
What I never could before,
My mind and soul despises you,
So the others I will...

What if..?
(The scene rises. Juliet awakens next to Romeo after he has taken the poison. In his hand is a letter addressed to Juliet. A gift, perhaps, he would bestow to her upon arriving to the afterlife where he mistakingly thought she had gone.)
Juliet: Romeo! No! What has thy done!
(She opens the letter only to become grief stricken by tears burning firecely from her eyes. He wrote this...she could tell.Sobbing, she reads it aloud.)
Juliet:
My Dearest Juliet,
Thou light hath seeth,
From thy cheeks,
Leaving bittersweet,
Blood-soaked......

Notthing is what it seems...
As he walks back to the street,
He sees a little girl,
"Where is your mother?" he says,
Watching her words unfurl,
"I've been here quite some time..."
She says back to the man,
"Standing here for a while,
I don't know where I am..."
He takes pity on the idea,
Of a child all alone,
"Come with me," he says,
"I'll help you to get home..."
So on the way they went,
Walking aimlessly in the streets,
Not a soul in sight,
Not a single eye to meet,
They continue to walk...

In a world to far away.
In my world I visit often,
Filled with hate,
Blood,
Coffins,
The darkness runs so terribly free,
Murderous thoughts,
Death,
Red seas,
Anyone who cares to tred,
Will be murdered,
Crusified,
Dead,
And all of those who came before,
Will suffer to,
Their cries,
Ignored,
I will watch so damn intrigued,
To see you die,
Watching you,
Bleed,
Maybe you'll survive,
And set back free,
To be pulled back,
So gruesomely.

My Dream
I had drifted silently off,
To the sound of the trough,
Relaxing me until I fell,
Through another gate of hell,
This dream is not of waves,
But of old, decrepit graves,
Upon one of the graves was,
An old man, a faux pas,
He held within his hand,
Not grains of wonderful sand,
A skull was beaten in,
Murder, was his sin,
As he looked at me,
It was appearent that I could see,
Rising from his grin,
I could tell I was his next mortal sin,
He rose up to his feet,
His smile filled with deceit,

Fallen
To late will the people come,
Running from all around,
To stop and stare at the sight,
My body laying on the ground,
My bones are crushed,
Beyond repair,
Some drop to the ground,
In a silent prayer,
The blood surrounds my corpse,
Like a crimsom halo,
My world came tumbling down,
But little did they know,
Nor little did they care,
To see me falling from the sky,
Watching me as I descend,
As if they weren't all there,
But no one tried to stop me,
As I had anticipated from the start,
Yet I didn't die from the fall,...
