a feeling, a thought, and a belief
My room is dark and full of gloom
but don't consider this my tomb,
just a place
for me to retreat
when the world knocks me off my feet
just crawl into bed
curling in a ball
and rest my head,
tomorrow is a new day
another chance for the world to say
why we are here
though it's not always clear
I need to understand the messages
painted with the sky, etched with sand
I stumbled down stardust lane
my head filled with air,
and my knees cracked
like two candy canes,
collapsing on the ground
with pyrite in...
but don't consider this my tomb,

If our lives are on a page
then I believer they're connected
from the beginning of age
forming a tale
a story so swell
it's hard not to tell
everyone I see
the beauty in you and me
listen to the words that I say
and you will live each day with hope and a smile
knowing all the while warm light shines down
to illuminate everything around you
Joy is is sight just open your eyes
and see no lies just love
it's within arms reach at every second
trying to teach you to fly on plastic wings
put down you mirror I can't...

Accidental Chemistery
To the darkest part of our hearts
where begin ends and ending starts,
unlock the door from which light is born
and see the equation written on the wall,
with the variables and fractions in their true form
answering the question possessing us all
Carbon constructs, combines and circulates
this accidental chemistry has purpose and pulsates
with love and life, Can you feel it flowing?
inside our veins filling our hearts
day and night it's always going
the meaning never known, but always told
is found in the lines
when life unfolds...

Carbon Copies
Disappearing in glass
concealed,
in a complex crystalline structure
light passes right through me
but don't think,
I'm not here
because I can see
you standing there feeling proud,
always talking so arrogant
and loud
you walk on feathered feet
never stopping,
to grab the time in your hands
it's falling away
and with each day
you feel,
less,
like,
yourself
carbon copies

no sense or thought
just follow who leads
onto the next frame

Red Feathers Forever
Trying to think
of something to do
but it's just me
alone in my room
I'm down,
down on the ground
but my back's up against something,
so it's alright
my thoughts
all turned to stone
becoming to heavy
to carry alone
this beat keeps repeating
and defeating
the desire, to move
I just
want to lay motionless,
wont someone jump in
and change the keys
the lock on my door
has been stuck for years
living with nothing,
but empty dreams and my fears
now I'm scratching at the walls...
of something to do
but it's just me

We'll chase our shadows
through the darkest days,
and lay into the night
with the thoughts
that keep us awake,
We'll try and fly
with our plastic wings
but I'll catch you
should you fall,
and be there
for what tomorrow brings

a reflection

inside of my eyes

if no hunger exists,
sleeping
in the bowels of your heart
buried underneath the color,

Skin I'm in
I don't know how to deal
with the way that I feel,
I wish I could tell you
there is much for me to reveal
open this book
and you will see,
that there are many sides to me
but I fear
you wont accept,
what I believe
you can detect
in my actions
and words
I'm a sheep
wearing wolves skin,
no I don't fit in
not with the rest
my heart's too soft,
wondering
what to do
but it's,
just
me
it was in a Buddhist mountain temple
I baptized myself in change,
but...
with the way that I feel,
I wish I could tell you

Everything will be
Shadows
wrap around my eyes,
hiding the truth
inside
on the t.v. screen,
I sell my perfect pitch
the people, so oblivious
don't hesitate to purchase it
my headline grabs them,
but all fail to read
the fine print,
so no one can understand
this role I play
was shoved in my hands,
so I crack a smile
and give them a wave,
all the while
my heart begins to decay
the mirror reveals
the nobody I am,
a puppet
orchestrated by unseen strands,
lacking the ability
to even stand

Error on the Screen
The light bends,
around my face
shielding
the world,
from this disgrace
an error message
on the screen,
some anomaly
has crawled
into being
a glitch
in the system,
born from
useless data,
forgotten in haste
unchecked
this virus spreads
it's fever
and sleepless nights
trying to explain
what happened
to your life,
who is the stranger
standing in the mirror?
but the questions
never get any clearer,
until one day...
around my face

Curtain Call
dark skies in the forecast,
a blitzkrieg
of fractured hope
is upon me
my caché
of beliefs and friends
are gone,
leaving something
hollow and cold behind
you can hear it
echoing inside,
as suicidal thoughts collide
but I can't
seem to feel,
the heart
that long ago died
while the pool
of blood
starts to divide
for everytime
I'd try to see,
this gleaming light
everyone talks about
outside
but all I see
is black,
and hear dispair
falling down my face
...

Vanishing Act
I don't see
how everytime,
I turn around
something new
disapears,
what was once there,
is no longer here
Who is behind my back?

every time I close my eyes,
Help me find a way
to stop
the stary haze
from hiding
those lunar rays,

these things that vanish
are meant to be,
