Everything For Nothing
What can I do with nothing
but sit back and allow it to free form into whatever will be
For years I've been molding, weaving, adjusting, shifting
giving, mending, building, sacrificing
patching, sticking, carving
the nothingness
believing that my efforts can somehow create something extraordinary
something out of this world
something life lasting
A hard lesson I've learned
that nothing comes from nothing
so I let it go into
whatever will be will be
nothing gives the illusion of something worthwild

Oh So You Love Me Huh?
When I hear the word 'love'
I run.
Not physically, maybe yes
But mentally I evade, disappear, compulse into a fit
Die a thousand miserable deaths.
It's having every glass around me shatter into a million pieces aimed at and racing into my direction.
Cutting, piercing, lunging through my flesh
Cause 'love ' that word is my trigger
A ticking time bomb buried so deep in my subconscious
I don't even think of it.
But you said it,
I love you, I've fallen for you, blah blah blah
Then I begin to sink

Raw pain, raw truth
Thetherd by the bond that clings
To fragments of her broken heart.
like a leech attached to succulent thighs,
unheard of a love so damaging
it breaks and bends and cracks so big
yet not visible to the naked eye,
she hides it so well
the bruises, the blisters, the swell
they complement her smile.
such beauty she exudes
her aura so captivating
Beneath the vey surface
lies blunt force trauma,
time, after time............ after time
yet she stayed
with the blinds folded over her eyes

I see disgust
your facial expressions when you see them
they are a part of me
yet you claim to love all of me
Why do you look at them as though unpleasant
Why do you suggest I keep them covered so no one stares
why are you ashamed of my body
when I am not ashamed of me
I do not have a skin condition
nor are they contagious
this beautiful pattern that runs along my skin
pleases me every time I look at them
I am woman
I am human ...
