Infernal Dreams Pt. 2
Come along,
You have a Kingdom to run”
I follow...objection, none.
“What a surreal phenomenon?”
Gazing upon charred sand, hooves press
Dazzled..pitch black sky, embers caress
Whilst, lubricious eyes mesmerized, impressed
By this incandescent enchantress
“Why can I not recollect?”
“No worries my Lord, It’s but a short trek”
“How long have I slept?”
She smirks and winks; to arousing effect.
Thoughts intertwined
Of being combined
With her hind-side
Were all that was on my mind
“SNAP OUT OF IT!” I thought…...

Disturbing depths…
Of life’s detrimental deaths
Woeful waters…
Wandering walker…
Metaphysical mysteries...
Of life’s amaranthine miseries
Insatiable shadow…
Sadistic harrows…
Drowning deep...
In life’s steep scrap-heaps
Sunlight saturates...
Saturnine separates…
Petals bloom...
As I am exhumed from death’s tomb

Infernal dreams Pt. 1
I awoke with a sharp, excruciating pain in my head.
With considerable reluctance, I pry my eyelids apart.
I wonder, “Why am I sprawled on tepid, onyx soil?”
My vision is blurred, fires scattered, dance and flicker.
On the horizon, charred mountainous ranges protrude from the earth.
Embers, dance and flutter through the warm air.
“What is this infernal place?” I think to myself.
As my vision clears, I notice an empty, half gallon bottle.
Just out of my reach. I squint, “Jim Beam, Devil’s Cut?”
I can’t remember...

Beauty in the Ballroom
T’was in the dimly lit ballroom,
in a grand palace
that my wandering eyes
were caught & mesmerized
by a heavenly beauty
sipping from her chalice
At that moment,
all others were nothing more
flickering shades
that my eyes evade
I was bewitched
caught in her allure
“M’lady” I extended my hand
“I have traveled far and wide,
would you by chance,
let me have this dance…
i’d be honored,
to swing by your side”
The end of my journey
my destiny awaits
for i have never witnessed such elegance
in...

Beautiful Death
His bones protrude, nerves exposed.
What caused this tragedy, no one knows.
Bits of sanity, in clenched fists.
Yet, he still hemorrhages from the wrists.
He tries, frantically, to pick up the pieces.
Try as he might, the pain only increases.
As he fails, he wonders...what did i miss?
For every effort, here i am at this.
He lies still, salvaging every last breath.
Awaiting his savior, his beautiful death.
What caused this tragedy, no one knows.

Molten drops, fire perspire
She’s heated, scorching desire
No surrender, no cease-fire
This time, there’s no split-decider
Mind on fire, sun-kissed blaze
Crimson coursing through her veins
Adrenaline surge through brain
Eager to break her foes face
She’s a devil, a beast
fists, elbows, knees, and feet
Watch as hell is unleashed
On a soul, she will feast
Prior defeat, history, no mystery
Inflict injury, misery, ensure victory
Mind sharp, raise alarm, intent to harm
Victim unarmed, I warn, Ready for war...

Oh pain, my friend…
here you are again,
to break the chains of my creative brain.
Oh, how I value these moments,
how i mold them into solace.
Invoke the poet,
and free me unto my innovative reign!

Etched in Eternity
If invoked, the love of a scribe
Will grant you everlasting life
Amaranthine words and fine rhymes
Inscribed on the pages of time
With a touch, you will know it’s true
Through whisper, a cure for your blues
Complex thinker, with thoughts, tinker
And calming caress, sooth injure
A love like a dream, what it means
A fairy-tale is what it seems
A poet’s mind, will understand
Just take a chance, and lend your hand
Open heart, allow fears depart
Passion and desire, impart
To you,...

To think, perceive and believe…
Above, below, and beyond,
That of, what others achieve,
Is the cause for my mental peace.
I seek, see, hear, and peer...
Through what things appear,
While they walk blind of mind, unclear,
These thoughts thrive through the stratosphere!
While you’re zoned out in your phone,
Life’s mysteries, to me, are shown,
Ache, weep, complain and moan,
Ignore, while i explore, open doors, to find what can be known!

Above, below, beyond and more,
All that life has in store,
Furthermore…
Adventures, north, south, east, and west,
I’ll see, hear and learn the best,
Just put me to the test,
You’ll see, i’m not like the rest!
Write it in Latin, Spanish, or English,
Challenge me, I’ll distinguish,
Won’t quit, even diminished,
