She might be broken but she is not falling apart,
Her heart may be in a thousand different fragments yet she remains a beautiful work of art.
She didn't have it easy yet managed to remain steadfast,
With an unwavering attitude knowing the hard times wouldn't last.

There are times where I witnessed her eyes holding back the tears,
And can see her struggle as she bears the weight of all her fears.
And just when she thinks it's too much to handle,
Her strength evolves and reaches a whole new level.

I am most times left astounded by her...
