POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I write my love between old bookstore classics, and a bare ribcage.
Forget Me, Not
I am going to make this last.
Make sure she never leaves me.
And if she does, that she remembers--
No man can ever love her better.
My very bed will haunt her dreams.
As her limbs entwine with the sheets,
Seeking that which only I can give.
In the heat of passion,
Thoughts of me.
My very name will spill forth from her lips.
She will never forget me.
And soon--
Come crawling back for more.
Make sure she never leaves me.
And if she does, that she remembers--
No man can ever love her better.
My very bed will haunt her dreams.
As her limbs entwine with the sheets,
Seeking that which only I can give.
In the heat of passion,
Thoughts of me.
My very name will spill forth from her lips.
She will never forget me.
And soon--
Come crawling back for more.

Candy
I want to steal your candy,
From that sweet place down below.
Please--Let me indulge,
The greatest delicacy of them all.
My sweet tooth,
You know it gives you a sugar rush.
Your body melts like ice cream,
As my greedy mouth tastes your strawberry fields.
The candy coated evidence of your lust,
drips down my tongue.
Lick your honey off my lips, baby,
I'm ready for a second helping.
From that sweet place down below.
Please--Let me indulge,
The greatest delicacy of them all.
My sweet tooth,
You know it gives you a sugar rush.
Your body melts like ice cream,
As my greedy mouth tastes your strawberry fields.
The candy coated evidence of your lust,
drips down my tongue.
Lick your honey off my lips, baby,
I'm ready for a second helping.

Makeshift
They had been seeing each other--secretly,
for a while now.
Their relationship,
If one could call it such,
Was and would always be a secret.
One that could never be shared.
It was easy to pretend they were bitter enemy's.
In truth,
They still were.
If anything--
The bickering and constant insults,
Had become more frequent.
Any excuse would do,
Just for one to be close to the other.
They sought each other out.
Traded an insult for an insult,
And hid their true feelings behind a mask.
Until one...
for a while now.

Want to play with me?
I taste the poison on my lips,
Would you like to taste it too?
Another has touched this soft skin,
Now, raw.
Would you like to touch it too?
My innocence.
Oh wait,
That was stolen,
Mine no longer to give.
You say,
'I want to brush your tears away.'
Sorry--But no longer will they fall.
Sure you want to play with me?
I'm used goods.
Someone beat you to the deed.
Would you like to taste it too?
Another has touched this soft skin,
Now, raw.
Would you like to touch it too?
My innocence.

Break
I hate the color white,
I'd rather paint it red.
Red--My blood you spilt
White--My innocence you took.
A white padded room.
A straight-jacket.
I must be crazy, right?
My body thrashes on the floor.
Then, a stilled silence,
The room fades away.
'Hello sweetness.'
The stench of alcohol.
More thrashing.
'Get the fuck away from me.'
The room fades back in.
A blood curdling scream.
I wasn't strong enough then.
Now,
I break the...

What am I Missing?
Tell me pretty boy with the broken wings
--Are you a fallen angel?
One sent to tempt me with thine beauty?
Press thy lips against this cheek,
and show me what I'm missing.
Oh the irony...
-An Angels lips upon a sinners cheek-

Unsated
Thoughts of you,
They keep replaying in my head.
I lay in bed alone.
If I can't have you,
Can I have myself instead?
My body twists in the bed sheets,
As I deny you the satisfaction.
The very thought of you,
Excites me.
If this is what you wanted,
Well--I can be just as stubborn as you.
I lay in bed alone.
Unsated.
I force myself to rest.
For I'm not aloud to touch myself,
It's against the rules.
They keep replaying in my head.
I lay in bed alone.
If I can't have you,
Can I have myself instead?
My body twists in the bed sheets,

The Masquerade
I'm tired of this masquerade,
This living of a lie.
I must confess,
Lift this weight off my chest.
I'm a fool, a fraud, a sham.
I'm hiding behind a forever-grinning mask,
That's only pretty at first glance.
Look underneath my clever disguise,
Do you like what you see?
The scars so deep,
Leaving me disfigured.
This living of a lie.
I must confess,
Lift this weight off my chest.
I'm a fool, a fraud, a sham.
I'm hiding behind a forever-grinning mask,
That's only pretty at first glance.
Look underneath my clever disguise,

Tare Me Apart
I'll tare you apart."
Your whispered words,
Dance in the back of my head.
As well as your marks,
Now dancing along my skin.
They tell a story of your carnal lust.
The very thought,
It makes my nerves stand on end.
My body becomes taut,
My thighs damp.
The marks,
Along my most delicate parts.
They start at my wrists,
Where you held me down.
Marks on my hips,
Where you pulled me down.
Impression of your hands on my neck.
You choked me,
And stole my breath. ...

Innocent Fear
Shadows Dance Along The Wall,
A Morbid Party For One And All.
A Child's Fear Manifests,
In Spite...
Of The Dark, Cold, Innocent Night.
Round, And Round, Their Imagination Goes.
Where It Stops,
Nobody Knows...
Footsteps Creak Along The Floor,
A Monster Knocking At Their Bedroom Door.
Mommy's Comforting Blanket Wont Work Anymore.
Heart Beat Rising, And Eyes Closing...
A Silent Scream Builds Up Within Their Very Core.
A Morbid Party For One And All.
A Child's Fear Manifests,
In Spite...
Of The Dark, Cold, Innocent Night.
Round, And Round, Their Imagination Goes.

Sweet Nothings
I don't want your whispers,
Of sweet nothings in my ear.
I want...
To carve our love into your belly,
Carve a heart into your arm.
I don't want sweet nothings,
I want permanent reminders.
A symbol everlasting,
In which will never dim.
Those pleasantries shall disappear,
so why bother to sigh into my ear?
Of sweet nothings in my ear.
I want...
To carve our love into your belly,
Carve a heart into your arm.
I don't want sweet nothings,
I want permanent reminders.
A symbol everlasting,
In which will never dim.
Those pleasantries shall disappear,
so why bother to sigh into my ear?

My Lowly Peasant
Why hello there, My Lowly Peasant,
How are you this May morn'?
I've seen your teasing glances,
Making me recollect of nights before.
I don't want the royalty,
Who ask me for my hand.
So the answer to your question simply being,
I'll take your delicacies over any other man.
Tonight,
The many nights before,
And every night, again.
For the pleasant nights spent,
In the arms of a lowly peasant,
Such as thee',
...Are the best I've ever had.
How are you this May morn'?
I've seen your teasing glances,
Making me recollect of nights before.
I don't want the royalty,
Who ask me for my hand.
So the answer to your question simply being,
I'll take your delicacies over any other man.
