Onset of colder moments
heralds
reluctant relief
When brighter days f a d e
And darkness
settles in
with the grace
Of a well manicured
grave
Welcoming the familiar
season of grief
Dying hopes
and shattered dreams
Huddled
under covers
in f

t
a
l
design
Lacking any comfort
or heat
How it was
at the beginning
So shall it...
heralds
reluctant relief
