Drowning
It's times like these
I wish I could die
I don't want to kill myself
Just something inside
My slow descent into madness
Caused by the demons within
I fight with them daily
But they always come back again
I've tried drowning them with liqour
Or pressing on the throttle
But speed never helps
Nor does the bottom of a bottle

Demons
In the depths of despair
The darkness is blinding
Slowing going insane
While my mind is unwinding
My demons are stirring
I hear them within
My vision grows blurry
The room starts to spin
Calling incessantly
Growing louder by the day
Nothing I do
Can keep them at bay
Soon I will answer
I haven't a choice
I will dance with them happily
We will rejoice

My nightmares are just screams
Through the echoing voids
The monsters unseen
Day after day
And night after night
Always in a constant state
Of fight or flight
