POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I try to put my somewhat limited experiences into my poetry, my use of devices is sometimes a little forced but that's the price you part when you're a lit student
'The waters of my love...'
The waters of my heart do run
Unto thee my Love,
For there's no greater beauty under the sun,
Than thee my Love,
I did not know that sweet joy,
Until I met thee my Love,
Any other 'love' was but a ploy
Of the world to keep me from thee,
My Love.
Unto thee my Love,
For there's no greater beauty under the sun,
Than thee my Love,
I did not know that sweet joy,
Until I met thee my Love,
Any other 'love' was but a ploy
Of the world to keep me from thee,
My Love.

The Stars aligned then,
When I first saw your beauty,
My Stars aligned then.
When I first saw your beauty,
My Stars aligned then.

To A Mug of Tea
How sweet your taste,
You calm the tempest of my soul
When we sit alone.
You have always been there
For me in the darkest times.
How sweet the smell,
If thou were the last thing I could smell,
I would be a happy cripple.
You fill the lungs with glee,
And bring tears to mine eyes.
Thank you Earl for remaining,
You make me more than I make thee.
You calm the tempest of my soul
When we sit alone.
You have always been there
For me in the darkest times.
How sweet the smell,
If thou were the last thing I could smell,
I would be a happy cripple.
You fill the lungs with glee,
And bring tears to mine eyes.
Thank you Earl for remaining,
You make me more than I make thee.

Written While Weeping
I smile though I shouldn't,
Yet I smile because I should.
I will falsely tell you that I'm happy,
Your happiness is why.
I hear the bells toll,
I want them to toll for me.
The tracks in the station ring,
I hear them call me like a Siren.
I only want to die,
But others say I can't.
I want to die not because death is easy,
But because life is too hard.

The Mortal Gift
Beautiful death,
It has been hated for centuries.
Cursing its fate
Humanity has tried to avoid it,
Excuse it,
Pretend we don't have to do it,
But we must do it.
And for that,
I'm
Grateful,
Glad,
Thankful.
For the dead cannot,
Hear,
See,
Feel.
(All of humanities curses)
In short,
The dead do not have to live
And I envy them that.
It has been hated for centuries.
Cursing its fate
Humanity has tried to avoid it,
Excuse it,
Pretend we don't have to do it,
But we must do it.
And for that,
I'm
Grateful,
Glad,
Thankful.
For the dead cannot,
Hear,
See,
Feel.
(All of humanities curses)
In short,
The dead do not have to live
And I envy them that.

Promises
I built you up with my love,
Now I'll destroy you with my lust,
Electric pleasure in every thrust.
I'll bite and scratch and claw
Until your under my power,
I'll take you for an hour.
You will beg for the whips to fall harder,
For the chains to be tighter,
You think you're a fighter.
I'll take you to pleasure's edge
Your pain is just a game,
You will beg for it to come again.
Now I'll destroy you with my lust,
Electric pleasure in every thrust.
I'll bite and scratch and claw
Until your under my power,
I'll take you for an hour.
You will beg for the whips to fall harder,
For the chains to be tighter,
You think you're a fighter.
I'll take you to pleasure's edge
Your pain is just a game,
You will beg for it to come again.

To You
So sweet, our lips together,
Your touch, lighter than a feather.
My blooming heart I pledge thee,
Just to have you say you love me.
-----------------------------------
Beauty is captured in her grace,
Engrained upon her face.
To see her is to love her,
And, truly, I do love her.
Your touch, lighter than a feather.
My blooming heart I pledge thee,
Just to have you say you love me.
-----------------------------------
Beauty is captured in her grace,
Engrained upon her face.
To see her is to love her,
And, truly, I do love her.

To Albion
Green hills that rise like waves,
Blue waves that lie like fields.
The sky may always be clouded,
But the land is full of joys.
We are you, and you are us,
A land is it's men, a man his land.
To Albion we say thanks,
God save Albion's fair land and fairer people!
Blue waves that lie like fields.
The sky may always be clouded,
But the land is full of joys.
We are you, and you are us,
A land is it's men, a man his land.
To Albion we say thanks,
God save Albion's fair land and fairer people!

Revived
That date will forever stay
- sixth of the second.
That was a red letter day,
The day that love beckoned.
If was our first date,
I'm no longer a single man,
I cannot pick a favourite trait,
That was the day my life began.

Machina
A sample face,
Body type: F
Detail scratched on later,
Roughly,
Poorly,
Left tarnished.
No colour added,
"Not worthy".
Printed last,
Among the other rejects.
Last printed,
Last picked to play,
Last loved,
First to hate,
For hate of self comes easy
For those unloved.

'I cannot buy myself nice things,'
I cannot buy myself nice things,
For I make no money.
Yet I am not poor.
The shoes I wear are worn
From walking, a ticket I cannot buy.
Yet I am not poor.
My hair is rugged, my face unclean,
I cannot afford a gents luxuries.
Yet I am not poor.
I can however walk with you,
In all the places those with money do.
For he who loves and is loved
Is not poor but very rich indeed.
For I make no money.
Yet I am not poor.
The shoes I wear are worn
From walking, a ticket I cannot buy.

Kingdom on a Cloud
It was a long time ago
That I lived upon a cloud
I lived not alone,
For I lived in love's shroud.
Long we would play upon our cloud,
In that kingdom we called home.
Our love was known far and wide,
Even to that far off Rome.
Our love was strong,
It lead our every move.
Our love was true,
We had found our peace filled cove.
But it was doomed not to last,
Down she fell from that cloud.
Pulled from me, by another,
Off of our kingdom on that cloud.
For a long while I blamed myself,
Then I blamed her...
That I lived upon a cloud
I lived not alone,
For I lived in love's shroud.
Long we would play upon our cloud,
In that kingdom we called home.
Our love was known far and wide,
Even to that far off Rome.
Our love was strong,
It lead our every move.
Our love was true,
We had found our peace filled cove.
But it was doomed not to last,
Down she fell from that cloud.
Pulled from me, by another,
Off of our kingdom on that cloud.
For a long while I blamed myself,
Then I blamed her...
