POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Poems from decade ago
The least I can give you.
love is...
a fairy vegetable dreamer Peach
I will
Surround you with the precision which
we bang my head against the wheel
You trigger noble men to joust
I,of an imaginary social construct,
receive the greatest gift
to be shrugged to the side,
In satisfying love affairs,
stressed lover,
a lost cause.
a brotherly, friend.
love are powerful,
Love Doesn't listen
A wave crashing onto
a piece of your driftwood
But it comes in
giving me Dreams ...
a fairy vegetable dreamer Peach
I will
Surround you with the precision which
we bang my head against the wheel
You trigger noble men to joust
I,of an imaginary social construct,
receive the greatest gift
to be shrugged to the side,
In satisfying love affairs,
stressed lover,
a lost cause.
a brotherly, friend.
love are powerful,
Love Doesn't listen
A wave crashing onto
a piece of your driftwood
But it comes in
giving me Dreams ...

dont touch me
axe me
i care not
trample on me
see how i spring back…
but
touch me tenderly
i curl into myself
as the touch-me-not…

bloom
My desire
bloom as a flower
in wilderness and drop down
in silence

i hear
sometimes it's as
close as a whisper
i hear it as if
a formless being talks it over
sitting right in front of me
of late i realise
it comes mostly from
within me.

of late i realise

Shakespeare
every word he spoke
was dipped in conviction
every nuisance of the body
spoke of his resolve
he sat on the other side
the questions rolled
and he matched each with equal grit
said shakespeare remains
his all time favourite
no, he didn't say a word
about milton...
said he's marvelled
at the deepest perception
of life that he found
in the great bard and
quoted some pertinent lines
to validate his statement
at the end
i walked to the other side
to give him a warm hug

body in a heap
I had a dream
Now, it got frozen in
Puddles of blood
I had a dream
Now it cuddled
My blood into water
I had a dream
A serene one
Where one lived
With the other in
Peace and joy
Now, the dream wails
And wails in endless
Lamentation at scattered
Limbs and bodies
Reversing my blood stream
My repulsed insides rave for peace
How can I stop this wretched
Reflex of my insides
Upon knowing that
A loved one didn't return home
But was thrown lifeless on to
A heap of dead...
Now, it got frozen in
Puddles of blood
I had a dream
Now it cuddled
My blood into water

I know my pots and pans
any other presence
in the kitchen is a threat
to her empire...
none knows her pots and pans
and the purpose they're for
except herself...
cooking is her forte,
she believes; none can be
as good at it as her
she can't relish what others cook
to her, she is the ultimate!
pain she gulps
smiles she shares
doctor, she never needs
for nothing can touch her
is her belief...
slightest bruise
mildest pain
on others is
what she can't tolerate!
condemned to glorification
trapped in...

Creation house
Woman,
Demean not your body
Given to you
For a divine purpose!
Woman,
You're not mere body, though!
A soul's passage
To an earthly sojourn
Is no spitoon!
The hips
That hold life secure
The breasts
That nourish growth
The body
That bears the world
Can never be a play-field
For the undeserving
For those who look upon it
As a booty to loot!
It's not for measly men
Who price it at their whim!
Woman,
Ridden with pain
Your body is a celebration too ...
Demean not your body
Given to you
For a divine purpose!
Woman,
You're not mere body, though!
A soul's passage
To an earthly sojourn
Is no spitoon!

each blink
through the early sky
each blink unfolded
a theatre of hues-
greyish blue to purple to pink to orange
that unfurled a nightly sky
sat there patiently for the yesterday's sun...
it emerged only at its appointed time
splashing orange to golden yellow
to once again penetrate the
depths of the ocean
and disolve...

can there be?
the colours are the same
the sights are the same
so are the smells
and the sounds too
can there be any difference
between sunrise and sunset?
between day and night?

breath connection
some colourful
some drab
some with fragrance
some with none
one a saint
one a sinner
once wealthy
once poor
at times high
at times low
today's flowers
tomorrows debris
whatever one may be
whoever one may be
breath connects all
as one and the same
ah, the hand of breath
that stirs and stops
in every nook and corner!
