Poet Introduction
My inspiration to write poems was my 7th & 8th grade English teacher, Mrs. Turbyfill. Although her class was pretty hard for me, she would always encourage me to write.

Under the Same Moon
How I wish that I could rewind time to the beginning.
To a place where you and I would have met sooner.
How I hate that my time here will end very shortly.
Now I must embrace the fact that we must part ways.
I will go unto God and plead to let us have more time.
I do not know if He will grant me my selfish request
Will He set me on an adventure or give me a quest.
All just to ensure that we can have a few more days.
My stay here these past few months has been a test.
Dear Creator, please let me have this peaceful rest.
Let my heart...

It's Quiet Now
It is amazing how time flew by pretty quick,
It was just yesterday we were still holding hands.
The thought of not having you by my side is unbearable,
Watching you hold hands with someone else.
Not even two months ago you were the one who told me
That what we had you would never have wanted it to die.
Yet I stood back and watched you kill it in front of me.
With not a single ounce of mercy in your cold heart.
For many nights I would cry out unto a God seeking answers
To why in the world would have you done such a thing.
The mere thought of...

A New Fire
I was beginning to lose hope
This world has taken me in so deep
It's a miracle to even get some sleep
The only word in my head was 'nope'.
I'm over here aiming for success
While the world would slap me in the face
Everything seemed like such a disgrace
People around were all working for the press.
I can't remember the last time I had joy
My whole world has become very dark
I felt helpless swimming near a shark
Then I remembered, I am no longer a little boy.
The tides around me turned upside down
I would rise again...

A Boy In the Forest
Just a boy wandering the forest with some friends.
Suddenly, I got separated from the pack and became lost.
I cried out for help, but no one could hear me.
Running towards the sunlight was my only hope.
Darkness would soon be upon me, and I was alone.
Everyone had already made it back home.
Yet I was still alone wandering the forest.
I had no where to run, and no where to go.
I just stayed there wandering what will happen.
Will I get saved, or will I lose myself in the darkness?
Nightfall came, and I was still alone in...

You and I
I sit back and watch you,
You look over and hide.
I give you a warm smile,
You give me nothing back.
I am kind to you always,
You always give me pain.
I give you a lovely flower,
You grab it and tear it.
I became your toy,
You became tired of me.
I gave you true love,
You abused of if.
I showed you patience,
You never were with me.
I gave you my full-time,
You never spared a second.
I ask why I was with you,
You don't even say a word.
I finally decided to say bye,

Bloody Rose
I placed my eyes over a garden of roses,
thinking that they would all look the same,
then I saw one that stuck out from the rest,
it was the most beautiful rose I had ever seen,
I wanted to reach for it and take it for myself,
but its sharp thorns didn't allow me to,
it only left me with tears wanting that one rose.
As the days went I would pass by the garden,
that one rose would still shine among the rest,
I would sit in front of it and I'd look at it,
but then it would taunt me to reach for it,
the times I did resulted in having bloody hands,...
